Great flavor and aroma
My Wife is what she freely identifies as a 'tea snob'. Loves many of the expensive, exclusive brands (though not all). She likes this, bargain basement priced, tea. Good on its own or blended with something else to make something unique to you. Enjoy!
Excellent
Using it for my Passionfruit and Mango Black Tea Line. Customers love it!
Flavor is smooth, without the bitter bite of some black teas. The procuct was delivered promptly and was packaged well.
A good tea but I would prefer a stronger flavor.
My everyday tea. Great tea at a great price
I love black tea this tea has a wonderful taste and smell
I steep overnight while adding some orange, lemon and other fruit for subtle flavoring. After straining I toss the tea outside in the garden.
We brew tea by the pitcher to drink iced, and nearly all black tea turns murky after sitting a little while, even when I'm careful to cool it slowly, but this tea doesn't.
I have ordered my loose-leaf black tea from Monterey Bay for a while now because I'm sure of their dedication to purity in their products.
Loose leaf high quality at a fair price with fast shipping. Delicious, and glad I bought several pounds!
This black tea is a great quality tea that I'll continue to purchase. It's taste is deep and robust. Perfect for what I was needing...
Not overwhelming, just a really good flavor and at a fair price.
I bought this loose leaf black tea to make my kombucha but then made a pitcher of iced tea and it is good tasting & no bitter aftertaste. I will buy it again.
This is just a good basic black tea for any use, but my primary use is for my bi-weekly batch of Kombucha, which I use for my smoothie base during those two weeks. The tea quality is good, as is the price. I typically brew 1/3c of black tea and 2C sugar in a gallon of water, which then goes into my "everlasting" Kombucha container [a horizontal 3 gallon water container with a spigot and a wide mouth top]. I drain off the Kombucha bi-weekly into a gallon container for smoothie use [~8oz/day], and the cooled batch of sweet tea goes into the Kombucha container via a stainless steel funnel with a built-in strainer, then a paper towel with a rubber band over the top mouth to keep open to air, but filter contaminants. When the SCOBY gets too think, the top wide mouth is big enough to get my hand in and pull out the thick SCOBY, which gets blended and spread out on the garden. No refrigeration, no secondary fermentation, and takes about 5 minutes every other week, and the Kombucha pot been going for many years. And the supplement mix that goes into my daily smoothie contains many bulk items from HerbCo [weighed into a 90day mix to spoon into the blender], along with whatever is growing on the farm at the time, then into the Blendtec blender [skins and all]. Eating healthy doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming when you get it down to a routine... and like making stuff and figure out how to do it with the least amount of redundant work.
Over all favorite tea.
Nice bold taste for iced tea made cold brew style. I also add some additional to my chai tea for a bit stronger taste.
Bold and smooth taste
I grew up on sweet tea
