The chicory granules I received are perfect. Chicory is an acquired taste... a bit sour, but I'm learning how to prepare it.

Easy Peasy
We homebrew with a dark French Roast and chicory. We can't find chicory in stores and have been purchasing it for years from Louisiana. For some reason, that supply is no longer available, but we found the Monterey Herb Co. Online. The order came reasonably fast on the cheapest shipping option and came in easy to recycle baggies. The former supplier had mylar bags in cardboard boxes. Much easier to use and recycle. AND, it took less than ten minutes to make my order of several pounds of chicory...! Yea!

Chickory coffee has antioxidants, no caffeine, and is actually good for you. It's a GREAT replacement for morning coffee!

I love the taste of coffee with chicory root, the problem is you have ruined most all other coffees! I can't buy coffee out at a convenience store anymore because it tastes like water, not that it was ever that good anyway. Just kidding I love how it accents the flavor of coffee.

I use chicory added to my coffee or instead of coffee. I use it on meat and in soups. Spectacular deep savory flavor.

Nice roast level that leaves some sweetness in the chicory; doesn't taste burnt. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the packaging; I'd like to see vacuum-sealed Mylar bags in the future.
