The first red flag appeared when I tried to withdraw some of my earnings, encountering excuses and delays regarding technical issues. I felt uneasy and decided to investigate the company further, discovering that they were unregistered and lacked verifiable information about their team.

I signed up with Genesis Mining in late 2017, when cloud mining was booming and everyone was talking about passive crypto income. Their dashboard was slick, and they offered "lifetime" contracts for Bitcoin mining. I paid just over $98,000 in BTC for two contracts, hoping to build up a long-term yield.
At first, everything seemed fine. I saw small daily payouts hitting my internal wallet. But after the 2018 market dip, the payouts slowed dramatically. They claimed "maintenance fees" were eating into profits—which wasn't explained when I signed up. Eventually, the dashboard said the contract was terminated due to unprofitability.
I contacted support multiple times—no response. Over a year went by, and my total returns were under $7000. I felt completely misled. There was no refund, no warning, and no way to get my original investment back. It honestly felt like a slow-motion rug pull.

I've gotten back my money from genesisminin through the help of. All I did was file a report to their site and they took over from there and pressured genesis mining well enough to refund my initial capital

I literally fell to their prey with there Mouth watering High RETURN ON INVESTMENT Payment even though i had been warned by my daughter to desist from any online investment or whatsoever. I have invested in Genesis Mining in 2017 and my contract expired in 2019. I contacted customer service and updated my wallet information but now they don't respond when I requested to transfer my assets. Don't know how to connect with them.

I gave them $800 supposedly for mining Bitcoin. They tried to sell me a bunch of other stuff, then also gave me some mining power for a few different mostly-worthless coins instead of Bitcoin, which no mining power ever materialized --and no Bitcoin. Kept saying that Bitcoin was broken, or forthcoming, or being upgraded, or any number of nonsense excuses for not giving me what I paid for.
