I used this service. Was OK at best, doesn't do much more than what you can get from free apps. Canceled it in 2022, then in 2025 they started charging me again. Getting the run around with them, they have no interest in canceling. Had to report the charges as fraudulent and cancel my card in order to stop the charges. Scammers from china, dont use!

This company has been fooling people. First you convinced that you can cancel anytime their subscription. Then they say that with your subscription you can use all their tools. But when you buy their subscription- which cost about 30 eur year. Then you see that you need to buy more and more to use that tools that you were told that included in price. And they reject to do a refunds. Fraud and disgusting company with their own rules. DO NOT BUY, ANTIRECOMEDATION

I had no idea that I had a subscription. Caught it on the day of the end of it and still they will not refund my money. I had absolutely no warning they were going to charge me. I think they are sneaky and devious and absolute no way to get a phone number to call them, Email is a waste of time but I will not stop until I get my refund. Horrible company

3 day trial. Cancelled on day 2. Found out I was charged on day 1.
Fotor promised a full refund - then worked with paypal to change the reason for my dispute and get it declined.

Fotor sent a refund months later; then somehow used paypal to immediately transfer the money to another paypal account. (Which cannot be disputed, btw).

PayPal has pages of screen shots where Fotor promised not to charge me during the trial and confirmation; and the merchant promise to refund me.

I called to close my paypal account and they gave me the run around. Im going to buy a prepaid debit card so I can remove all my real banking data from paypal.

I recently used Fotor for my photo editing needs, attracted by their wide range of features and tools that seemed user-friendly and promising. However, my experience did not entirely live up to my expectations, leading me to share my thoughts for others who might be considering their service.

Completely unrealistic photos. Prices unreasonably high for such a poor service. My AI generated avatars doesn't even resemble me!

So I didn't want this subscription the first time
I TRIED THE FREE TRIAL. Got billed for it, the product, particularly the generated images are terrible. Anyways, I end up paying 40 bucks for a membership I don't want. I log in once to request cancelation. Think it's done. I notice about 3 days before my date on PayPal that it still says active. Switch that to inactive. PayPal literally tried 5 different times to steal this money for Fotor, then finally found a new card that worked. Dispute it, Fotor claims it wasn't cancelled and PayPal, even though the payment was inactive when they drew it, claims I received the product. Not only a terrible company, but a truly substandard product to boot.

I regret to say that my experience with Fotor was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. In fact, I would go as far as to say that they are a scam company, and I strongly advise against using their services.

Sent many emails with no response. It stated 1200 credits and yes I used a lot of them. It's hard to believe I used 1200 credits. Purchased in September. They don't show this info anywhere? What's not included with this subscription?

This is a scam and a complete fraud. After purchasing the 40-pic business package for professional headshots, I was told it would take 30 minutes to create. After 2 hours, the pics were still "generating" and eventually never came through. I tried to start the process again and sure enough, was asked to pay another $9.99 in addition to the first $9.99 charge I paid for the package. This is a scam. RUN. DO NOT BUY. EVER.

Makes you think it is free but after uploading photos, asks for credit card. After investing time in uploading photos, the platform abruptly prompts for credit card information to access essential features, which can be quite misleading and frustrating.

The worst. The pictures didn't look like me. They did not even look related to me. I tried it twice, and nothing.

Do NOT use on android. Fotor Online Freezes (locks) Android Phone after uploading picture. Got faulty UI message, phone was dead. Had to unplug wifi, held on-off phone button, and wait til it shut off. Black screen, dead phone. Tried again did the same thing, all other Internet online inquiries function fine. Watch Out!

Like many others, i signed up to the trial and accidentally forgot to cancel so was charged a whole year. Emailed them to see if can get refund, no response.

Fine, a lot of websites won't refund you anyway if you forgot to unsub. So I thought, may as well make good use of the year.

As I begin to use it, I start to see how it lacks, some simple tasks like resizing the canvas and not the image is not there. Tried to match resize photos while keeping ratio (don't have option, you can keep ratio when you edit photos individually, but not in batch mode).

Tried to ask for help with the "help" button, never there. No email follow up. Nothing.

Take your money, no reply. Stay away.

Paid extra for AI avatar service, still running after a week. No images, no money return, no support.

Their 'Free Trial' is not what you think. They immediately charge your card for a full year and they don't care. You can't cancel, they won't refund you. Your bank can't do anything because they are in China and simply ignore you. They have your money - they don't care. They know you would never renew in a year because their software is average at best. I tried it - not impressed - tried to cancel within the hour and got nowhere. NEVER give your card number - no matter what they say.
