Here's another company that's impossible to get a live person to complain to; just computer generated responses. Facebook allows some of the most vile, filthy content but if you make a comment they don't like you get your account suspended. It's okay for them though... totally holier then though attitude... hypocrisy defined... I've found that not spending time on Facebook has actually improved my mood... so screw them... closed account.
After more than two months of back-and-forth and over 60 emails, my issue remains completely unresolved. Throughout this process, I received mostly template, copy-paste replies that did not address the actual problem. Different agents repeated the same instructions again and again, despite the fact that we had already gone through those exact steps — including two live calls where we repeated the same verification process with no result. Meetings were scheduled and then missed. I was repeatedly asked for availability, provided it, and then no one called. Each response claimed the case was being handled "with priority," yet nothing changed. There was no clear ownership, no concrete next steps, and no accountability. As a business, this had a direct financial impact, since my ad account remained unusable for weeks with no explanation or timeline. Instead of solutions, I received automated reassurance and delays. This is not what professional, business-critical customer support should look like. The lack of transparency, ownership, and resolution makes it extremely difficult to trust the platform when real issues arise.
This just began on Sunday Oct. 12 2025. My feed is now overrun with irrelevant trash and clutter from people and entities to whom I have not subscribed and have never followed. This wastes my connection bandwidth and computer resources, along with my time. If I block one of the sources, another takes its place. I'm not going to post a screenshot because this might imply the person or page is responsible for effectively spamming me; Facebook, and not the person/page, is apparently deciding what to show to whom, including those who have not followed or subscribed.
I'm not going to lie, Facebook is the best social media website that I've ever used, and I've used a lot. I was trolled, cyberbullied, threatened, insulted, mocked and done all sorts of other negative things by (former and current) social media websites such as Yahoo! Answers, Omegle, Reddit, X (former Twitter), and even Quora. Facebook is excellent for having online relationships with good people in your life that you trust, especially for introverts like me. Just make sure that these folks are like that. And since people there use their real names, instances of trolling are fewer.
I accidentally added ₹10,000 INR to the wrong Facebook Ads account (Account ID: **************). No ads were run on this account – the full balance remains unused. I intended to add the funds to my business Ads account (Madhrri Ads Account). I've contacted Meta Support but haven't received a resolution yet. Is there any way to get a refund or transfer of the balance to the correct account? Has anyone experienced a similar issue and resolved it? Any insights or help would be appreciated!
1. Used Instagram posts to try to profile me racially. Then FB suggested posts based on its profiling.
2. Locked or disabled account when I joined male-only groups.
3. Kept on suggesting scantily-clad fashion models in military backgroupnds despite my repeated "stop this" preferences.
4. Locked account after I uploaded a screengrab from a conservative video ste.
5. Made my Samsung phone run hot and drained battery from 55% to 9% quickly.
6. Locked account despite Likes received from technical-tool groups (where I am an expert, and won awards for) for my replies to help-seekers within the group. However FB did not lock replies from other replies that had incorrect solutions.
This company should be banned. Many public feeds with explicit porn easily accessible by children. These people should be ashamed. They are teaching our children to objectify people and in the process, create the next generation of mal-adjusted members of society. Shame on Facebook. It's a piece of junk that should be heavily fined and more heavily restricted.
It is absolutely sick that FB allows people of color to make comments like "whites should be shot" and for someone to brag about getting free money from "stupid wonder bread whites". As a woman of color, no one should have the privilege to say hateful things about or to anyone of any race. FB is one of the worst companies and is completely outdated. Shut it down.
Facebook is broken, it has been for years. I have 3 accounts only one of which I can access. I used to be able to switch back and for between my main account and my secondary account. I can no longer do so.
If I accidentally hit the wrong button and my feed disappears I can't get back to where I was. Too many ads, too many suggestions for subjects I have little to no interest in. It's all such a mess and there is no way to contact anyone to complain, etc.
Oh where to begin. I used to love FB. Now, it's a love-hate relationship. I had an original account that I can no longer access. I have a secondary account, same name, etc. It was created by me at some point in time and I can no longer recall why. Anyway, I used to be able to switch back and forth between the two. I can no longer do this. The site is now littered with ads for websites, and subjects I have no interest in. The whole thing is broken. I'm sure this has driven away lots of users because so many of the people I have listed as friends apparently no longer use it. FB is now a sad joke.

If any other company had this many data breaches it would have been shut down long ago. What make facebook immune with no real customer service and no accountability. This site should be shut down until its made accountable for its past. And new checks put in place and a new for of reporting to the public when breaches occur, like every other company is required to do.

The number of comments, which is very LOW, and the act of EDITING comments to put in a comma, correct spelling will both earn you a restriction of 6(SIX) days, without updating your Account Status - so in essence, it shows NO restrictions, but in practice you've been silenced for a WEEK.
Over a quantity of 5 or more comments within an hour. Meanwhile

A place where said individuals will call you anything from neo nazi to "re... rded" over aggressive issue with your content, occurences that never go against standards when reported, leaving you to navigate the precarious environment to the best of your ability in anxious auto-censorship.
Nevertheless, the eventual objection to abuse, burning flags, extremely targeted personal attacks, no matter how tame, DOES qualify as a violation of standards, making toxic individuals uncomfortable, that facebook wants to keep safe and catered to.
Appeals don't work, the rudimentary bots this band of rejects make use of are incapable of both context or adequate vocabulary filtering and this social media harasses you endlessly with 30 day totalitarian restrictions over the perceived/projected aspect of all of the above.
Facebook is not for individuals expecting a safe medium to exchange ideas, practice common sense or expect meritocracy. It is not for individuals that would like to opt out of aggressive data mining, sponsored ads of fascist political organizations that aren't permitted an equal presence and leeway for propaganda on conventional media and it most certainly isn't for individuals incapable of anxious auto-censorship, to retain their right to communicate unrestricted.

Have tried to post a dozen or so photos, with comments, three times, but they - photos, comments, everything - disappeared every time before I could upload. That's 15 minutes wasted 3 times. You'd think an org. This big could maintain a better UX. What the $#*!, FB? Should I even bother any more?

Facebook has no standards. I reported an extremely graphic pornographic post, and Facebook said it did not violate their community standards, and they did not take the post down. If it were not for the fact that I have many people I keep in touch with through FB, I would get off altogether.
I get restricted for cussing or calling someone a name, but if they're bullying me or being ignorant first they get away with it simply bc they didn't cuss. It's impossible to get a hold of support. They should have an easy access email or chat to get a response from a person when you have a problem or question.
I also just got restricted from messenger for 3 days and I haven't even sent any messages. Make that make sense too. I'm at the point I don't even want Facebook anymore bc of their rules and how they run it now.
I got restricted for sending a message to someone and telling them off and calling them a dumba** for being ignorant to me 1st by commenting on my comment on a public post simply because they didn't agree with me. Facebook always favors certain kinds of people. Crappy people get away with being however they please. Canceled culture, blm, and other things that have messed this world up even more get favored. They let ignorant or annoying people be. I have every right to stand up for myself/how I feel about something, and be ignorant if someone is being ignorant or annoying towards me. I will match your respect or disrespect. You literally have to watch every single thing you post or say or someone will report you. My mom HATES snakes. She got reported last year for commenting on a post about snakes saying "shoot them bas***ds", and got restricted. Lmao seriously? Facebook is just an unfair platform. I reached out to them about it and they never responded. Also you should be able to chat or send a email to speak to a actual person, and you should always get a response. Very difficult to reach out to support. I have just had enough with everyone and everything in this world.
