UPDATED: Warning Will Robinson
March 5, 2017

The review below represents my dealings as a first time customer with Ezpopsy.
I am very happy and relieved to report that having spent an extra $54, I successfully returned and received a full refund from this business. I was specifically asked to remove this post. My undertaking was to update it and let other potential purchasers use this information to guide their purchasing decisions.

At the end of the day, I have my money back, for which I am grateful, but it was not without stress, many emails and just overall disappointment that dealing with an overseas provider introduced an element of uncertainty and expense that was avoidable. I must reiterate that emails were always answered quickly, but that palatable solutions were not immediately on offer.

The outstanding issues regarding inconsistent sizing, timing and the vulnerability of the customer in the return process remain as a concern. Make up your own mind...

I am a deeply dissatisfied customer of ezpopsy. The broad internet presence and beautiful presentation of the clothing affords a credible front. However; be warned.

Issue 1: timing
My order took one month to arrive. Local online shopping sites do much better. Additionally a tracking number provided with the order does not link to an actual tracking facility. I was beginning to worry...

Issue 2: Sizing
I ordered three XL dresses. None of them fit. As I am a size 14-16, I chose styles that had a full skirt or looser cuts according to the photographs. The measurements provided on the site were not adhered to. I estimate that at least one of the dresses would correspond to a size 10, one a 12 and one a 14. (And I am being generous there). The sizing was therefore inconsistent and given that it is impossible to try clothes on before buying online, this is a critical issue with this company. You cannot trust the stated sizing. Anyone who is not sylphlike is going to get burnt. Hmmm... on to the return process. Beginning to feel sick that I have spent about $300Australian and have nothing but a bunch of clothes fit for a midget.

Issue 3: the odds are stacked against a successful return
Email communication regarding a return was responsive but not productive. My initial email identified the sizing discrepancies. I was offered a suggestion to pass the clothes on or to exchange them. I would be offered a coupon or discount on selecting different styles. I was warned that returning the items was expensive and no return address was provided.

I got cranky and after a further two emails a return address was provided along with a link to terms and conditions that are unpalatable and unfair and leave the consumer completely vulnerable at all stages of the process. For example, having paid the specified postage for return, Ezpopsy suggested that on the Chinese end, a further import fee may be charged. At this point, the customer could be asked to further cough up or the company could just refuse to accept the parcel. Very Dame Slap... for those of you into Enid Blyton. Your returned item would then not be returned to you and they would not accept it. A further list of impediments and conditions were raised. Since no certainty attaches to this process and is completely beyond the control of the consumer I have chosen not to return the items but instead to warn others not to deal with this company.
Eventually I was offered a 20% refund... but I chose to end my dealings with Ezpopsy there.
I urge all potential customers to consider the ease of return from Australian online shopping sites. Ezibuy and Birdsnest are fabulous from this perspective.

I agree that the styles of clothes available through ezpopsy are beautifully presented but the downside is that a pretty photo does not always translate into a happy shopping experience.
