Opened a support ticket on the 28th, was lied to continuously by Support staff and the seller of a steam giftcard. They claimed they could check if it was valid or not without redeeming the code, this however is not true as seen in a post from the official steam website.
I tried to dispute with my payment method but they somehow sucked up this lie because Eneba was stubborn and claimed no accountability. I have used this platform in the past and had no issues but only now do I see how deceitful and scamlike it is. I am just glad this wasn't one of my huge orders and instead a couple of GBP.
I recommend using an alternative service like G2A or Loaded.
I bought a random Steam key that was supposed to be worth over $40 USD.
They delivered Homeworld 3, which is only worth $2 USD on their own site (eneba). On Steam, it's currently $29 USD (although they've conveniently stopped offering it for free).
The purchase conditions state verbatim: "Quality Guarantee:
"Each key guarantees a game with a price of €39.99 or higher, based on European Steam store prices (retail price without discount)." They also failed to deliver "a highly rated game on Steam" randomly. Homeworld 3 has mostly negative reviews, which is why it's unlikely to be included on this list.
A complete scam.
Do not trust this site with your money. I had $200 worth of gift cards expire. Instead of helping me, Eneba support only refunded $34 and told me it was a "goodwill gesture." I am still out $166. Their support is useless and they will hide behind "policies" to keep your money. Go to a legitimate retailer instead.
I recently had an unauthorized purchase made in my name on Eneba, even though I do not have an account with them and have never used their platform. Someone bought a digital game key using my PayPal details without my knowledge, and when I contacted Eneba for help, their response was extremely unhelpful.
They refused to provide any information about the account that used my payment — no email, no username, nothing. They simply kept repeating that the payment "appeared to be made with my consent," even after I told them clearly that I do not have an account and did not make the purchase.
I asked if they could at least block the key or check if it was redeemed. They dodged the question. I asked for account details connected to the purchase. They refused. Their support felt scripted and dismissive rather than actually trying to help a victim of fraud.
In the end, they pushed the responsibility back onto PayPal and local authorities instead of investigating properly. This level of customer care is unacceptable, especially for a digital marketplace where fraud is a real concern.
I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Eneba. If anything goes wrong, their "support" offers little more than copy-paste replies and zero real assistance.

Der Code ließ sich nicht einlösen - ich erhielt die Fehlermeldung, dieser sei bereits auf einem anderen Konto eingelöst worden. Ich wendete mich an den Support per Ticket-System. Der Support liess mich über 10 Tage lang schmoren. Ich half bei der Aufklärung, erstellte Screenshots und bat den Amazon-Support mir das Einlösedatum zu nennen. Nun erhalte ich keine Erstattung, weil der Code angeblich zeitlich NACH meinem Kauf eingelöst wurde. Ich habe den Code an niemand weiter gegeben und er wurde auch nicht durch Viren, Trojaner oder Fishing geklaut. Der Verkäufer darf weiter verkaufen und der Supportmitarbeiter namens "Leonard V." schließt einfach mein Support-Ticket mit dem Hinweis, er könne da nichts machen, es gäbe keine Erstattung. Unglaublich! Betrug! Betrug! Betrug!
Fraud! No Refund for a Used Amazon Gift Card
I have been scammed. On October 18,2025 I purchased an Amazon Gift Card (€400, Germany) from the seller called NightGame. The code did not work - was displayed as already used in another account. I raised a support ticket. The support team kept me waiting for over 10 days. I cooperated the whole time — provided screenshots and even contacted Amazon Support myself to obtain the exact redemption date of the code. Now I'm being denied a refund because the code was allegedly redeemed after my purchase. That's impossible. I never shared the code with anyone, and it was not stolen by any virus, trojan, or phishing attack. Meanwhile, the seller is still allowed to sell on Eneba, and the support agent "Leonard V." simply closed my support ticket saying there's nothing he can do and that I won't receive a refund. Unbelievable! Fraud! Fraud! Fraud!
So, I dropped 50 bucks on a PSN code, which, shocker, actually worked. Congrats, you managed the bare minimum. But here's the kicker: turns out, to get the freakin' code they strong-arm you into handing over your phone number. Seriously? What is this, a back-alley deal? I feel like I've been mugged, but instead of a wallet, they stole my personal info. Where's the "cancel order" button when you realize you're dealing with bottom-feeding data vultures? Oh, right, there isn't one. Probably you need to find some hidden support link, then you can do... whatever. The order is done. Sadly. - And yeah yeah they have a very good privacy policy. Where there write exactly what happens to the data. Of course you have. Like everyone else. Like, my number is not already sold in some way by others. I'm sure my phone's about to be blowing up with scam calls, all thanks to these guys selling my digits to the highest bidder. And don't give me that "we only use it for verification" garbage. I wouldn't trust you to verify the sky is blue. Oh, and the first thing you read in the email? "Rate us!" You need to scroll down to find the code. So that is the priority. I purchased an Xbox Game Pass Core (6 months) code from Eneba. When I tried to redeem it, the system told me it had already been used. I contacted Microsoft Support — not once, but multiple times — and every representative confirmed that the code was redeemed before I made my purchase. I even received a follow-up email from Xbox confirming this, with exact timestamps: Code redemption: June 16,2025 at 22:30:45 UTC My purchase: June 17,2025 at 00:47:47 UTC Eneba, however, refused to acknowledge this. They kept shifting excuses — citing time zones, internal checks, and vague statements like "we trust our seller." But here's the problem:
Both Microsoft and Eneba's own records confirm that I bought the code over 2 hours after it was redeemed.
Even by their own logic, the evidence is now against them. Instead of doing the right thing — replacing the code or refunding the money — they dismissed the case without offering a real explanation, and refused to show any actual proof. At this point, I am filing a formal complaint with the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net), and sharing all documented evidence publicly. I strongly advise others to be cautious when buying digital codes from Eneba. If something goes wrong, you're on your own — no real support, no accountability.
My experience with Eneba was unfortunately disappointing. I pre-ordered a game expecting to receive the key on time for the release. Instead, I received the key 24 hours after the official release date. Cancelling the order was not possible during this time, even though I had not yet received the key. The customer support was also unable to help me and did not resolve my issue satisfactorily. Overall, the process for a pre-order was disappointing and the service was not satisfactory.
I usually purchase UC through Midasbuy and spend over £100 every month without any issues. This time, I decided to try Eneba, but it's been almost a full day and I still haven't received my UC. I emailed their support, but they only replied after 12 hours — and I'm still struggling to get my UC. This is extremely disappointing, especially for someone who regularly makes purchases. I expected better service. The delay and poor communication have completely ruined my trust in this platform. Definitely not using Eneba again — sticking with Midasbuy from now on.

I received a used code. They did not respond to an error report. There was no solution. They don't even respond to messages.
I purchased a €50 Steam Gift Card key from Eneba for €65, only to find out that the key was already used. When I contacted customer support, they refused to provide either a replacement key or a refund. Extremely disappointing experience – I expected much better service. Be cautious when buying from here, as you might not get what you pay for.
Purchase a few Binance keys. All worked fine but when I complained about one of them not working and requesting to be replaced after several attempts to activate it and providing numerous proof of a faulty digital key, Enable not only showed complet incompetence in dealing with costumers as they run me around in circles via emails as none of their staff knows how to read up previously conversation within an open created ticket but they keep repeat same rubbish to me and not resolving the issue or offering a refund as clearly stated on their app as if a digital key is faulty I'm entitled to a refund. Completely incompetent and theirs. Don't trust them!
In UK we have laws which entitles costumer to full refund and as the purchase was done from UK regardless is digital same law applies. Eneba breaks the law! DO NOT TRUST THEM
Bought my code on June 9th 2024. First off: I finally got my refund today (25th July 2024) after fighting for over a month just to get a refund.
The code was not working because there were inconsistencies likely caused by the seller itself. It was a google play code where google needed more information to make this code work. After providing this info, google stated that they would not accept my appeal because of incosistencies, which I later found out were caused by the seller (probably).
Even though I clearly got evidence from google, that the code is not working and NEVER WILL, eneba and the seller refused to refund me and instead gave me multiple different useless tasks to finish.
I had to open a case at paypal which was wrongfully decided for eneba and against me. Anyways, I also opened a case at the european online dispute resolution platform to make the whole thing reach the next stage.
I had to provide more then enough evidence which also was already going against my privacy just to proof, that this code is not working and never will. Eneba refused to side with me but rather sided with the seller that never really proved anything.
After fighting for 1 month and 16 days, I finally got a refund since eneba noticed, that there would not be anything to do against the evidence I provided multiple times. I see myself lucky that I was able to get a refund and from my experience, I can only guess that many people are just not being refunded whatsoever.
Fight for your rights guys and don't buy from Eneba. It was a catastrophy communicating with support and I am happy, that it is finally over...
Will never buy again from resellers online thanks to those guys.
Had an awful interaction with this company, paid for a promo code that never worked! When I reached out, they refused to refund! Finally I had to go through the 3rd party to get my money back!

Beware of Eneba, this is the worst platform to spend your money on. The company claims to be reputable, however, its scamming the customers by selling "Already USED" keys, and upon contacting their support (which is super awful), they send you in a rabbit hole to contact the official Platform.
In my case, I bought the Cricket 25 - PS5 key, which turned out to be used already, and even though I contacted the ENEBA support, after days of back n forth emails, I was told that key was "not used" as per their seller.
I even provided the official Playstation Email to them, specifying that the key was used before I purchased it, but then I was ghosted.
Please, never purchase from this platform, as they're scammers, and huge liars, who will not hesitate to take your money, and then lie on your face.

There was a charge made to my card from this site. I never authorized this charge. I've never even been to this site. I was never emailed an invoice or receipt of the purchase, so I wasn't even aware of the charge being made to my card. When I asked for the email address associated with the purchase, they refused to give it to me, even though it was MY card that was used for the purchase. Seems really sketchy to me. No invoice, no email address provided. Makes me believe the people at Eneba conducted this fraudulent activity.

I purchased three 30-day Xbox Game Pass Ultimate codes from seller gamemania. They were non-stackable codes; I had to wait for each to expire before using the next. I used the first two without a problem. When I attempt to use the third code after the second month expired, I found that the code had already been redeemed. I provided screenshots of my Microsoft account and the chat with Microsoft confirming that it wasn't used in my account. Eneba refused to refund the purchase because the code was used after my purchase. They said that the seller has ways to confirm this directly with the publisher, which they "could not ignore". Considering that I know for certain that I neither used the code nor gave it away, I believe that gamemania resold my code.
You can buy legitimate keys through Eneba but customer service will not help you if you get ripped off, even if you provide proof.

Watch out if you need invoice from this lithuanian company. As a EU consumer asked for a invoice after a purchase on eneba.com and they refuse to send it.
I understand they are not direct seller but all purchases are made trough this company.

Answer: Not really most of them got the same problem if a code/key is working, everything is fine. If not then the customer is screwed. The only difference is how that is handled. Eneba for example if you get a duplicated key you could have a big problem, they don't do anything without the supplier's response, which could take weeks. So best solution use always PayPal to get you money back.
