There is always something new to try! The recipes are delicious without being too hard to execute.

You will have a hard time trying to find a bad meal in New Orleans because of all the wonderful chefs working in that locale so it's no surprise that good writers/reporters can find great recipes to publish in this magazine! They make it easy to be a good chef in your own neighborhood!

Lived in New Orleans for over 3 years and fell in love w food. This magazine and recipes remind me of the times and food at that time—and I love it!
All advertising and tourism.
You would think by the title of this magazine there would be plenty of recipes and history in it. Sadly this is not the case. It is all advertisements and tourism for the state of Louisiana. Sprinkled with 1-2 recipes. Save your money and take a pass on this one!

I thoroughly enjoy this magazine's recipes. I have used many of them and always look forward to receiving the next one. It costs more than I usually spend, but it worth it.
Great Louisiana food!
I have gotten this magazine over the years and after living in Louisiana the recipes are great and authentic. I live in Texas again and we have the best bbq but Louisiana has the best Cajun food. If you like a good gumbo, praline, dobash, or King cake you will find the recipes to make them.

We are from Louisiana and recently moved so we bought this to keep in touch with the food culture. The recipes in the magazine are excellent. I plan on giving this as a gift to fellow New Orleans transplants.

You can't go wrong with the recipes in this magazine. Makes me want to get in my car and drive the two days it takes to get to the Big Easy for the fresh ingredients!
