Good quality
Still good after all these years...
I've been reading Hot Rod for over 50 years and it's as good today as it was back then. Too bad it's only quarterly now but that's a sign of the times, not a reflection on them. I'm also happy with my purchase through DiscountMags, it was less expensive than buying my subscription from Hot Rod.

Not as good as I remembered
It has been a lot of years since I have received this magazine, but it is not close to being as good as I remember it to be.
Magazine went to crap.
No comments, no letters, no sale cars. Only high dollar show crap.

It took nearly 6 months to get 1 magazine.

Hot Rod review
I recently resubscribed to my Hot Rod magazine subscription as I have done for the last 20 years or so. About a week or two later I read that Hot Rod is now going to make a bigger issue but come out only 4 times a year- I feel like I am being ripped off!
DIY AND PERFORMANCE CAR MAGAZINE
LOYAL READER for many years and they still find the interesting cars to review Fords from the thirties are the first hot rods and you see more now then I remember in the recent past and they are cool too. Most mags don't sepcialize in modifieds the way Hot Rod does and new cars can be a little boring after a full issue, in my opinion of course. All car news is interesting to car guys for sure. Sure miss Pontiac Performance, and Pontiacs for that matter, hard to beleive end of the new ones was reason to quit publishing.
I have been reading HotRod since 1954!
Have you ever tried using your computer in the bathroom? I still prefer a good magazine!

This Magazine Survived
Up to about 5-7 years ago there were a lot of "in you hand" auto magazines that older generations grew up with with all sorts of articles
That included do it yourself projects, cars of old/new, performance, trouble shooting, etc. This magazine keeps alive the satisfaction of wrenching on cars, for men and women, alike.
