Awesome magazine
Best magazine out there
Not much substance

Some of the black and white photos are awful. Too much on young peoples fashion.

Used to read and subscribe to Maxim before FHM and other Men's mags came out... Was expecting something a little more...

This magazine used to be awesome, was a 12 year subscriber but haven't been for 2-3 years now. Started up again and the first 2 issues after getting back on board have been atrocious. Not even worth the paper it's printed on.

A new direction from the old Maxim
I use this as bathroom reading. It's for European people, not a good magazine. Does not relate well with American men like the old Maxim did.

Not what it used to be
I had a subscription after the first issue hit the stands, I took a break for a few years and now the magazine is unrecognizable. It is 95% ads, no interviews, no tech, no gear, no jokes, no interesting pieces. I would rather read a magazine from one of those free curb boxes.

Mag went to heck...
I hadn't read one for a while. After giving a try, I was extremely disappointed. A shell of the old Maxim. The subscription was cheap, but still barely worth cracking open. Sad to see such a cool past mag, fall so hard. I thank the subscription service for allowing me a chance to retry it. Had a spent the full price...we would have a real problem. Thanks for listening.
More artsy then I remember it being.
It seems to cater to the upper class reader now more than it did when I was younger. Still has good photos, but thats about it.
