Board meetings mean high stakes and very little room for error, so I used to spend entire weekends obsessing over side alignment and font consistency instead of thinking about the substance of what I wanted to say. The first time I tried Decksy was almost an act of desperation. I had a quarterly review due in two days and a stomach bug that wiped out most of my prep time. I dumped my raw talking points and a few spreadsheets into it and was surprised how coherent the output was on the first pass. Since then I've used it for for every board deck, and what strikes me most is how much mental space it's freed up. I spend that time thinking about what I'm actually going to say instead of whether my bullet points are indented correctly.
Used Decksy for a research symposium with a lot of dense data. It turned some complicated tables into charts that were actually readable from the back of the room.

As a freelance consultant, first impressions carry a lot of weight, especially when competing against agencies with in-house designers. I used Decksy for a proposal to a mid-sized manufacturing company last month, mostly out of desperation since I was juggling three other projects that week. I typed up my strategy in plain paragraphs, uploaded it, and went through maybe three rounds of tweaks before I had something I was happy with. We don't have money for a designer on stuff, so most of our presentations used to look pretty rough around the edges. I had 48 hours to put together a deck for investors and no design background whatsoever. My first attempt looked like a college project — mismatched fonts, awkward spacing. Way to much text crammed onto each slide. I scrapped it and tried Decksy instead, Feeding it my rough notes and a few key numbers. What came back actually looked like something a real design team had built. During the meeting, one investor asked who handled our branding, and I had to admit it was an AI tool and about two hours of my Sunday night. Very happy with my 'first pass' Ai experience with Decksy for our Cabanato fundraising proposal/presso. After reviewing I now want to look at adding a few extra pages and a number of images. Fingers crossed that it's as simple and easy as the stage 1 Ai pass.
