So all the reviews here are people just saying it's cheap and I hate it. Which is true but doesn't have any real reasons. As I've been doing it for a couple of years I will share my honest opinion and my reasons. Enjoy.
Iready is bad, It takes too long, missing very few questions, like two for example, can make you start over again. When you get it wrong it doesn't explain why you where wrong, it just says "oops, try again. The diagnostic tells you REPEATEDLY not to rush, but if you fail to complete the test in under a week it makes you restart, now, you may say that a week is enough time to complete a test, but the test has 100 questions and you have to read an entire passage for almost every question. The characters names and jokes are stupid, like the name Pepper Jackie. Here is one of the best jokes I have ever heard this website say, ready, "it's so ice to see you" BRUH
And I do agree with everyone saying it looks and sounds terrible. I hate it, our teachers hate it, and everyone else hates it. I do not reccomend

Someone people just says "OmG tHiS ApP iS AwSoMe" like you know there is lots of bugs and never fixed them right? And when you get a question wrong it says "oOps TrY AgAin" of something like that, if they put you in ready you will be mad, but that app cause stress, and lots of stuff, if you have this stupid app, get rid of it, and if you failed a lesson, you can try again but if you fail again, it takes out the lesson, like if you remember it, you can't do that again. Stupid I-ready.

It takes away your life, I'm a middle schooler, and I already have a lot of homework-once I finish that I was happy to enjoy my weekend. But I have to do a fricking 60 minutes of iready that just craps up my weekend I HATE it. And some of the lessons are so hard, I have to redo the damn lesson over and over I HATE it! Oh and sometimes I have to do close reading lessons and their so DAMN long! Also when I get a quiz wrong-it feels like such a big deal and I ALMOST cry over it. Finally in first grade there was this little game that you can play when you are done with the lesson and I USED to like it BACK THEN, but now they tell stupid jokes and when iready get updated-it doesn't do ANYTHING at all. This also goes for the diagnostic, back in the day we had this fun game where you shoot aliens but now they replace it with this stupid "brain break" which wants to "relax" your brain-IT DOESEN'T. Also, WHY DO WE HAVE TO DO THE F***ING LESSON AGAIN IF WE FAIL THE QUIZ! JUST LET US RETAKE THE QUIZ! Man iready was so much better back in the day WHY DON'T THEY KEEP IT THAT WAY. ALSO IREADY CARES MORE ABOUT ITS PROFITS THAN ACTUAL LEARNING AND GIVES ME A 62% FOR GETTING 2 QUESTIONS WRONG!-like if you agree to all this.

Iready is super slow and boring. I couldn't even get through HALF of a lesson without feeling like I was going mentally insane. And despite all these terrible reviews, public schools make this monstrosity required. And if you don't get a question right it makes you feel stupid. And if you leave and come back later I guarantee you will forget everything about the lesson and fail. Iready is overall the worst learning platform I have ever seen.

Honestly I-ready is slow enough to take hours for more then 2 lessons and has animation that I could probably make within minutes in flash but even with it already lulling people to sleep it then says POP QUIZ except if you get 2 of the answers wrong you need to do not only the quiz but the lesson as well. Honestly it wouldn't even be that bad if it had some sort of way to skip the animations but instead they are required and slow as all hell. And it's not even like it helps that much academically because while it's supposed to improve grades because it makes you smarter instead it usually just means that you got a grade for completing it.

It knows my whole name (including my middle name) and when I do it at school says back at Westwood Elementry, and at home it says my WHOLE address. It thinks I'm a toddler and asked me what is an author! It has the WORST animation. It makes me read a text for a five year-old even though my diagnostic score is 627 and I'm 4th grade.

So... Where do I begin? Well, their jokes at the end are just terrible and the audio with the image doesn't match up with the person's mouth. Another reason I absolutely hate Iready is their lessons and quizzes are so long. My eyes always hurt after looking at the screen for so long. Under the Iready logo it should say, "Side effects: Headaches and eye strains." Another reason that could just be for me but whenever I get a question wrong they make it sound like it's the end of the world or you just sinned against their fricken math culture. I hope teachers see this so they don't have to put their kids in this torture like I am in. I hope my teacher sees this too.

This site is horrible! Why do teachers make us do it!? I am in 4th grade and they act like we are in preschool!
It wont let be answer the question until the stupid robot stops talking with it weird voice! Don't waste your time on this dumb app, maybe try playing Roblox but don't do this! I can't even believe that this site is still a thing! My teacher, makes us do this for 2 hours a week! Its horrible! I hope she sees this so she won't tell us to do it anymore! I-ready it lame! Iready is stupid. And to top it off, i ready is BOARING. I think I-ready should be ready to SHUT DOWN!

The storylines are too long and are a waste of students time. I get that the objective is to get students learning but it's actually so boring and unproductive. If they were to try and entertain the students better, they should at least not make the characters dialogue so long. They do not help students understand what mistakes they made during their quizzes at all. When you fail at a quiz, they make you re-do the lesson over and over until you get it right, but if the lesson that taught them how to do the quiz let them fail it, isn't the lesson the thing that was supposed to teach them in the first place? At least make another, much more thorough lesson for students who have failed the quiz instead of making them redo the thing that failed to teach them. This website should not be mandatory if classroom because of so many issues. What's worse is that they do nothing to change their issues. Please fix how you run your lesson and listen to reviews.
