The only actual good reward game is cat stacker. And heres an example about how they want to "civilize" you. They say that you have to answer 1 + 2 as 1 + 2, no equivelents like 2 + 1. ITS THE SAME FREAKING EQUATION YOU PIECE OF (insert swear word im not allowed to cuss.)
Curriculum Associates says that Robert E. Lee is a fricking hero?
My name is aidan and i am 11. I hate i ready my teachers say that i need to do it but i dont because of these reasons.

I ready is not the best for schools for i like math and i really like reading but i ready makes it painful even if your question is wrong it doesn't explain how to do the math and it is trying to make it look cool but its not some of the things in ready like in one lesson theres a poster with a kid wearing sun glasses but i searched up "cool kid in sunglasses" and i quickly found it overall its horrible for me and it gives me headaches. The sunglasses kid in down below but i did not take a screen shot of the lesson

Over explaining.
May 14, 2021

I am a smart student usually, but my teacher has been assigning i ready assignments. Over explaining is sciencetifically proven to be unhelpful and confusing. When you are trying to learn you should have the choice to ask for help, But even if you do understand the stupid over explaining lesson confuses you and you end up getting the question wrong.

THIS SUCKS
May 13, 2021

Its so dumb that teachers assign at LEAST FIVE lessons a week. You answer the right question and it says your wrong! It is so stupid, and annoying. You have to have serious patience to complete ONE lesson.

I don't know why they created this because first of all what if a kid had angry issues and started throwing things and this also horrible because kids get stressed out so much they wanna kill theirselves than it's very hard you click on answer and it marks it wrong first of all this isn't helping you with your grade or IQ it's helping you get dumb sometimes the answer they put are WRONG for example 4x7=27 that's probably why you aren't getting good grades and also it puts stuff you already know like descriptions we already know what that is it's a waste of time if i was you I would be doing something else like reading or homework or REAL MATH what they are teaching us is nothing it actually makes you dumber so BAN THIS!

One reason is because A website for students that teachers think will help their grade, but in reality it makes them want to kill themselves. A website that causes suicidal thoughts, depression, ptsd, anxiety, and adhd. Another reason is because, I-Ready causes stress for students and does not teach anything to students, is a big waste of time and has no benefits. It can cause hours of time to get past the tutorial of 1 lesson... With all this time students will not have time for extracurricular activities like sports.

A. I. R.
May 11, 2021

We the people of the the A. I. R. Association, in order to form a more perfect school environment, establish a petition, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the anti-iReady cause, promote the general anti-i-Ready mood, secure the blessings of childhood to ourselves and our prosperity, do ordain and establish the idea for i-Ready free schools in the state of North Carolina.

We children of the formerly amazing public school system request you to hear our complaints. We A. I. R. Members all have come together with a common source of conflict in our daily lives- i-Ready. It helps in the least.

"According to Curriculum Associates, the company that makes i-Ready, these assessments are an 'adaptive Diagnostic for reading and mathematics [that] pinpoints student need down to the sub-skill level, and [provides] ongoing progress monitoring [to] show whether students are on track to achieve end-of-year targets.'"

They say.

In reality, it is the exact opposite. We wonder: The people that assigned this to us- did they try it themselves? The animation is just one minor flaw in the system. First, the test designed to take thirty minutes stretch on and on for hours. And I won't even mention the dreaded, waste-of-time 'brain breaks'. Balloon breaths. Really, people?

There are many other reasons, such as the fact that people already know the things 'taught' during i-Ready. There are reasons, people! Look at the facts, think your decision through before renewing i-Ready or using it yourself for teaching.

Listen to the students. We need a voice.

Curriculum Associates owns iReady, a virtual learning tool that schools tend to use, especially in the absence of in-person schooling due to the COVID-19 outbreak. For some reason, schools still think that using this site is a good idea when it is vehemently the opposite. The current United States curriculum is outdated. Instead of allowing children to explore themselves and find their own talents, they are trying to shape children into a mold to grow them up to be in debt to the government in colleges. Schools enforce this belief that in order to be successful, you must go to college. This curriculum only benefits the government and colleges that students are in debt with for decades. IReady only helps to keep this going. It shapes people to be what they want, and while I have had no experience with it myself, from what I can tell there are millions of children who don't like this. For perfect reasons too. You can't expect people to actually want to do both reading AND math for hours on end every week. Let people explore what they want. A leading cause of depression in teenagers isn't just hormonal changes. Its school. They cant expand themselves and they feel trapped. And what happens to those who kill themselves? What if one of them was the next Elvis? What if one would go on and find a way to prevent dementia? Maybe one could have been president. But no. The failing school system is still in place.

I've been using this program for more than 5 years, through elementary and middle school. Our own school even has a time for this program. Honestly, it's better for some testing program, not for some idiotic lessons. I'm tired of this website and would like some change. The people who do say it is good, good for you. But it is not suited for me.

I $#*!ing hate I-ready. It is so boring and it has no fun in the website. When you're doing a quiz and you get 3 or more questions wrong, It $#*!ing fails you, and the worst part is your teacher giving you 30 minutes of I-ready. That's like 30 mins of a nightmare
