I paid for a premium OKCupid subscription and was removed from the platform shortly afterwards without any prior notice, explanation, or evidence of wrongdoing.

Despite multiple attempts to obtain clarification, OKCupid refused to explain what rule was allegedly violated and repeatedly redirected me to generic policy links. I was instructed to appeal without ever being told what I was appealing against.

Access to the paid service was denied, no meaningful review was conducted, and no refund was offered. Apple also refused a refund, while OKCupid showed no interest in resolving the issue or even communicating clearly.

This is not how a legitimate business treats paying customers. Taking money, blocking access, refusing explanation, and hiding behind vague policies shows a complete lack of transparency and accountability.

I strongly advise against purchasing any paid subscription on this platform.

They don't have any real women. All they can offer you is tons of bots to screw you out of money. OkCupid is designed to make profit on paid subscriptions. Well, when you get the paid subscription on AFFlirts.com
(just as an example of a legit site) at least couple of dates are guaranteed. However, when you purchase a subscription on OkCupid things get much worse than they were when you were a free member. All these sexy women simply disappear. When you subscription is about to end you start receiving plenty of messages and likes again. This is a general repetitive trend of this lame site.

I came onto this site twice, each time paid the monthly fee and each time my preferences were totally ignored. I am specific about what I want so that I do not have to go through 100's of men's profiles to weed out the men who smoke or want children. I find this website did absolutely nothing for me. They say no particular pictures are allowed to be posted yet they are constantly posted and low quality people are here to choose from because no one is checking the sites for quality assurance. This is the worst site as far as low level for the price, is should always be free if the site isn't doing what it claims its doing for you.

There are three levels of membership:

Free which essentially lets you see pictures of people who may or may not be active members

Premium Membershp: Which I paid $70 for three months "membership"
READ the fine print CAREFULLY! All you get is pics and profiles of people who may or may not be active members. You CANNOT communicate with ANYONE, including a live customer service rep!

You CAN like someone BUT they can't see who likes them nor can you see who like you, UNLESS you upgrade to premium membership.!

So the bottom line is I paid $70 to see pictures of members who may or may not even be active. I can't even see who are free members, basic members and those (if any) who paid for premium membership. A total rip off!

SOOOooooo friends OK Cupid has now joined the ranks of corporate corruption and scammers.!

In my opinion: Stay VERY CLEAR of this site Its just SCAMMING people.

I'd like to leave a more in-depth review, discussing the sites features, the quality of matches, the variety, how it works to verify profiles and keep away bots, catfishers etc. But I can't. I made a perfectly OK profile, nothing explicit or rude, no swears, slurs or anything vulgar or otherwise problematic. Once I finished my profile, I was promptly signed out.

I tried signing back in only to find out my newly made profile, as well as my phone number were banned.

I tried appealing the ban through customer service. They took days to get back to me, and weeks to let me know that they will not be unbanning me. Didn't tell me what rules I violated either.

With how long my profile was up there wasn't even an option someone could have reported me, so I assumed it was some glitch, which they refused to correct, and refused to elaborate on why they didn't.

Complete garbage. Wouldn't leave any stars if that was a possibility. Just use Plenty of Fish.

Ok cupid is like Woodstock 99. It promises a good time but what it becomes is a crowd driven by sexual violence. If you leave the crowd online to meet a stranger you risk sexual coercion or worse.

Ok cupids filters are weak. I am absolutely not attracted to African women and have no desire to travel there. Yet every time I boost, I get likes and intros for 90 African women who I have to reject. Giving them hope that I might like them is cruel. It's better for them to not see my profile.

Also, it would be nice to have a filter option that let's me search for women by country. If you like Brazilian women, you should be able to search for them.

If I could give 0 star I would. I subscribe for a month and there is no possible match that is appear on my screen. Completely ripped off!

This website is full of fake profiles from US and abroad. As soon as you join, you'll get tons of likes and messages from fake users to lure into taking membership. I wouldn't even spend 5 bucks for this crappy dating website.

Site is loaded with out of date or profiles. You will be bombarded by nonsense fron Kenya. I asked for a refund. The FCC should shut this down. It seems like a total fraud.

I joined OK Cupid hoping to meet local ladies to interact with. Sadly the overwhelming majority of the women on the site are from other countries looking for assistance in coming to America. That is not what I signed up for. Unless you are looking to import women stay clear of OK Cupid.

This app is trash! There's no Black women on this dating app. It's like they completely left Black women out and only focused on white women. They truly need to do a better job of marketing and reaching out to women of color. Hands down the worst dating app ever. Down below, I added a screenshot of a user's profile stating that she does not support Black Lives Matter. Now how in the hell am I supposed to feel safe on this app?

This is a great dating site to find serious love partner. Most profiles are real people. Dated several there and married one too.

Most profiles are fake. Price is way too expensive to look at fake profiles. Stick to Tinder or Bumble. You can actually meet and talk to people on Tinder and Bumble. OK Cupid in Mexico or USA is simply waste of money and time 100 percent scam

To start with, OkCupid is very expensive when you pay for all the features you need to use it comfortably. Secondly, it's pointless site. I received 5 letters in 2 months, in the meanwhile I get 100 letters per month on AFFlirts.com
I wonder how many real women there are on OkCupid. Don't pay attention to the reports they send you telling you about the women who are your potential matches, most of them are either absolutely fake or outdated or in relationship with other members. For some reason nearly all messages I sent on OkCupid were ignored. What is the point of such kind of search? It's pointless site.
Also OkCupid is very expensive when you pay for all the features you need to use it comfortably.

It's funny that they claim to be free You have to pay money for pretty much every step you make. But just like a free site they have no service, no fraud prevention, no results. If I pay, I want the results. And I got them on J7Match.com
I started going on dates almost immediately, all the women I met were very pretty and genuinely interested. I'm having a hard time making a choice. OkCupid is like a ghost town compared to it.
