Great Outdoor Kitchen Station Cover
I finally had a chance to get back to our lake house to install our new custom outdoor kitchen station cover. The process of getting all the measurements was a little challenging at times since we do not live at our lake house year round and it was not always convenient to take additional measurements as the designers developed their detailed drawings and cover plans. That said, the designers were very detailed-oriented to ensure I got a great fitting cover. They were also understanding and accommodating and would place my order on hold until I was able to get back to the lake house to take additional measurements and confirm existing measurements. Once I received the cover, I have to say, the new cover fit great over our door kitchen station. It was large enough in key areas that allowed the cover to easily go over the grill and counter areas, but it was tight enough to prevent wind from getting under the cover and blowing it off. Additionally, with the added drawstring at the bottom of the cover, we can cinch the cover down to further limit the possibility of wind blowing it off. I would also add that I was impressed with the cover material. It seems sturdy and durable, capable of standing up to the wind, rain, and snow, but it is relatively light and easy to handle. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase and I thought the price was very reasonable, given the high degree of customization that was required to get a great fit and a great look.
Grill island cover
Fits perfect on both the grill and griddle. Looks great. However when dealing with order confirmation they are not really clear when they need additional measurements. I had to ask why a confirm drawing wasn't going anywhere. Finally reached someone that could explain they needed additional measurements.
Cooking island cover
Covers designers were very thorough in checking my measurements were correct. Only criticism is that they don't give much time to respond and therefore putting your order on hold and then unable to respond on the message thread.

Back Yard Chief
This cover was a complex fit for an outdoor kitchen. The design team and I communicated several times to get it right. The production did not start until I approved. There was no price increase from the original quote. I wondered if it would fit - it DID - like glove, complete with a water resistant zipper. Could not be more pleased!
It's a very good fit.
All the measurements I gave were followed to a tee. It fit my grill island very well. We will see about durability after I've had it for awhile, at least one summer.

I would like to give 4.5 stars because I was really impressed by how thorough the design team was to confirm my measurements before executing my order and the cover seems of excellent quality and I'm confident will last me several years. There is one thing I'm a bit disappointed by. I gave exact measurements and it said it will add 1-2 inches which I guess is to make it easier to put on. Unfortunately the front portion that goes over my grill ended up bulkier than I would have liked and the fabric is bunched up here so the fit doesn't look as custom as I hoped for. I also gave exact measurement of height and with the added length it gathers at the ground which I don't love. I did get the zipper option which I would think would assist with application and make the overage less necessary. 1-2 inches is too much compensation in my situation at least.

Final outcome wasn't bad to be fair but the experience trying to liaise with their staff was annoying. Overcharged me for the product, despite making my case they refused to acknowledge this. I gave up in the end because I wanted the cover before winter.
It took a long time to fonalise but good product
3 months of back and forth and numerous emails and phone calls with designers. But the end product is very good.
