I am satisfied with the shopping experience as I found something I was somewhat happy with. However, when delivered one of the pieces was broken and customer service advised to use superglue on it which is not very advisable. They then offered a refund of £17 which is not enough considering I had paid over £5 for insurance and damage cover.
ALISTAIR PORTER AND LI SHENG ARE THIEVES. Costway have **helped themselves to £179.95 from my bank account** and then acted like my order simply vanished into thin air. No order confirmation. No email. No reference number. No product. Just my money — **gone**. After **numerous phone calls**, Costway repeatedly claim they "can't find" my order. Funny, because my **bank has no trouble finding it**. They've confirmed: * The payment was **successfully taken** * The exact **time of purchase** * An **authorisation code** proving Costway received the money Yet Costway somehow have **no record of taking £179.95**. So which is it — a system so broken it loses paid orders, or a company happy to take money with zero accountability? Customer service is a masterclass in incompetence: endless calls, no answers, no ownership, and absolutely no urgency to return money they took without delivering anything. I've now had to escalate this with my bank because Costway are either **unable or unwilling** to resolve a problem they caused. Paying nearly **£180** to be gaslit and ignored is not shopping — it's a warning.
Brilliant service, this play kitchen is a must have to any little girl. It took me a while to assemble as it is a lot of little pieces but it is very easy and enjoyable. My daughter loves it. Thank you

Customer service less than helpful, asked me to send a video! Then didn't reply to emails. Shame as we are really happy with the product but we will not be able to shop with you again as we are unable to log into our account.

I ordered a gift for my grandson and unfortunately ordered two items instead of one, due to my error of not checking my junk mail and assuming that my first order had not been received.
I telephoned Costway and explained the situation to a very pleasant member of staff. She resolved the problem and I only received one item, not two, and also my credit card was duly refunded.
I was delighted to be able to speak with a real person over the telephone and not an automated voice ordering me to press buttons!

Terrible customer service that do not know consumer rights. I was sent a faulty item, missing screws and damaged. I sent evidence via pictures of the damage and the customer service agent called Gemma was very rude by accusing us of causing the damage by using it. Number 1. There are screws missing, number 2. Even if it was used it shouldn't have caused damage to the item in such a short space of time, so either way the item is faulty, but they don't accept this at all. I have requested a refund or a replacement alternative item, and all I get is snarky unprofessional replies like no refund is guaranteed until we have inspected it. Just WOW. You provide a faulty item, and then try and act like the customer is in the wrong just to avoid providing a refund. When you call up, if youre lucky to get your call answered, they will just say whatever to get you off the phone "yes your email will be replied to promptly" or "we will escalate this matter to head office"
So many reviews here have said they have not received their refunds, this is definitely a scam company. AVOID.

Happy with the overall quality of the bedframe and timeliness of the delivery. Just would have preferred the under bed drawer to integrate with the bed seamlessly. At the moment, it just feels like 4 unattached drawers.
