My kids love this website and they recently got me to play as well. I can tell you that it is completely safe for children as it is impossible for them to accidentally give away any personal information. There is a monthly fee of 7 dollars per account and if you have more than one child, they will both want their own account. You can let your kids play for free, but I can pretty much guarantee you that at some point they will be begging you to become a member. Club Penguin is smart in that unless you pay them 7 dollars a month you cannot get all of the "cool" virtual items like a big igloo.
I know Disney bought this site (I feel like Disney is a little too commercial these days) but my kids just love Club Penguin. I feel safe letting them play with it.
Im sitting here going through all these crazy reviews for different sites. Found this one and called my daughter over. Its a great site!
I love this website. It does have a little bit of a loading problem, but that's only because every one is on it! You get to dress up your penguin and everything! You also get to SEE your friends- unlike webkinz.
Wonderful kids site (and adults) -
Games to play and their very own customized penguin!
I definitely give this site a thumbs up for kids.
The colours on it are nice and bright and gives it a happy look.
