It is usually a solid website to get free citations, but lately the ads are insane and LITERALLY block out the whole page to the point where you can't even see what you are working on. The amount of ads make the website super laggy too. I get it they need money, but they need to fix this issue. I was trying to cite a journal article, and it made me watch an ad to get it for free, which is reasonable. But after I watched the ad, the ad didn't even have a close or exit button. Anywhere I clicked on my screen would take me to the website of the ad. If i reload the page, it makes me do the whole process again with no exit button... Super frustrating. I even made a whole account on here to complain. I'm finding a better website to use smh

It says it will show you the citation after you watch an ad, but after the ad it freezes up. Worked previously, but now it's a waste of time. Maybe it's just glitching?

Citation machine is a really good tool that helps you cite your resources for a paper. Though when I use it now, I get flooded with ads, even to the point where I can even use the website anymore, and when it does work, it makes me watch another ad, just to see my citations! I will be using other resources if Citation Machine cant pull it together.

This website is inundated with an overwhelming number of pop-ups, and it's nothing short of frustrating. I found myself bombarded with pop-up after pop-up

Too many pop-ups!

You claim to do the citations right. My instructor told me they are not right and not MLA formatted like I picked. You screw people over for money but don't do your job! Never chose this because they will mess up your grade!

I cancelled it, and they confirmed that they wouldn't charge again. After few weeks, they started to charge again, they said I had initiated the upgrade! I asked for proof... and they stopped talking. Sick people.

This website will not load if you get a bad ad and will be unusable. If this isn't fixed they will lose their customer base. It is completely unreasonable to waste time because you want 9.99$ a month and are gonna try and get it by making your "free usage" unusable.

I am trying to use this for citations, but it is next to impossible to get past the five flaming videos assaulting me. If their product is so good, you would not need a cheap distortion from all the incessant ads. Build a good product and people want to come.

I would not use this because there are better alternatives that don't attack you with ads.
