Chetu

Chetu completed the development work of a critical track within Tuthill's Customer Experience roadmap. The team stood out from other partners by:
- Having very structured project tracking techniques
- A thorough understanding of our needs and how to execute our project plan
- Extraordinary response time to requests
- Flexibility as our needs evolved throughout the project
- A positive attitude to partner with us and see the project to a successful completion

The developer was quick to provide deliverables of code commits and daily video. The developer clearly understands Python and Blockchain which resulted in quick and efficient results as we move forward. They took time to explain and detail the work done in videos.

They did a sales presentation to us about how they would allocate an experienced pm, a team lead, and a developer to our project and how they will make sure that the work never stops to ensure the project will be delivered on time.

The project was simple, an existing code that needed improvement based on a clear requirement. We provide a full of documents and videos (yes videod) explaining the project and we had our own technology team on stand by to assist.

They said they cannot start until we pay, and it would take 2-3 days to assemble the team to start the project. So we paid, then there was complete silence. We had to follow up continuously to find out when they will start the project. 10 days later (not 2-3) we were told that the team is ready. They provided no plan, no collaboration tools, nothing, total silence. They would work only at night and they would send ad-hoc requests for meetings at 8PM, 10 PM!

We setup the collaboration tools and organized things for them (they were supposed to do that). Then we kept asking about when they will start the development and we ketp getting emails that they are analyzing the documents and setting up the code. 3 weeks passed with the same thing, analyzing the documents and setting up the code. The fourth week we decided to terminate and the account manager Tas Odud would not even answer any of our emails. She did her scam, collected the money and disappeared.

When we sent an email asking for a refund as we did not get anything from them, this is what we received from their President:

Problem is that your company has hired you as a project manager and they'd be better served by firing you. YOU ARE THE JOKE! Completely incapable with a filthy mouth that likes to send nasty emails after emails. Most bullies like you do not like the taste of their own emails when they come back at them. Let's see how you react.

Disparagement goes all ways. You are not the only with a computer... will totally annihilate your brand if we expose how your software is a complete and utter mess. Perhaps, your customer and the "world" will be interested to know the bugs and flaws in an old archaic dilapidated platform…. So they are aware that you are a mere loud talking marketing outfit ripping them off. Should we start that disparagement war?

Since you are at it, have your attorneys review the contract against disparagement. Again, if you have a brain cell, understand how contracts and companies work. You are not I high-school any more.

Chetu, Inc. efficiently approached the project and fully implemented solutions according to the industry requirements, simplifying the earning points process. The team kept everyone informed in an assuring and beneficial way. Above all, their expertise uniquely made the partnership successful.

Our Company was looking for a development house to build out a cloud-based solution for our new patent pending flagship product that will be used to track and monitor water/wastewater/sewer repairs worldwide, and Chetu is delivering every week! Cost Effective for our budget (R&D with product launch is a HUGE concern for any small business trying to launch a game changer) and Chetu is right with us hand in hand making suggestions for better user experiences and better looks - all the while our Chetu Project Manage is keeping us and the teams engaged and focused on the solution! - Overall - well done and i would recommend anyone have a chat at the least on how they can assist you!

Working with Chetu has been very enjoyable. I did struggle with the languages bearer at first but after about 3 months it stop being an issue. We have noticed if they are working on a project from scratch they do very well. They do lack when having to work within someone else's code. I think the best feature is having a dedicated product manager to guide their team. The team I have been working with has done a great job and has helped us accomplish the things we needed to get done. Overall I would say it's a good deal based on the price.

Chetu has been working with SpiderOak since June 2021, they have worked on 2 of our projects and currently working on a third one, SpiderOak has one resource working with us, occasionally adding a second resource for short term needs. Chetu has worked on a GIS project to provide an offline map library through Mapbox, They worked on a BBQ smoker automation project to remotely control it from anywhere through IOT devices and a Raspberry PI. Chetu is currently working on QA automation project for iOS and desktop applications. Spideroak is really happy working with Chetu, they do an excellent job in the automation area with good work quality and looking forward to continue working with them in the future as well.

The Chetu team was a great addition to our team and quickly understood and executed our vision. In addition they were very communicative and detailed about the schedule and resources needed to complete the task. I have no doubt that they could accomplish any task we gave them.

One of the greatest frustrations in dealing with software developers is the lack of accountability with what they are working on and when. With Chetu, not only do you receive an organized plan from the start, but you have weekly meetings (more if necessary) as well as daily reports so you always know exactly what is being done and when. During the weekly meetings you see the progress and the team is very responsive at fixes or changes. In fact, they will also show you the break down of the new feature requests so you know exactly where you stand at all times.

We have enjoyed working with Chetu and plan to use them again in the future!

We hired Chetu to develop an app for Android payment terminals. They did a great job and were able to take what I had as an idea and develop it exactly as I wanted. I didn't even have to give much direction for the project.

I had an idea of this game i wanted to make and chetu really helped me start making this a reality. The game started off pretty small with some excel sheets and other things and they really helped me start the process in turning my thoughts into a game

Clutch engaged Chetu to build out a POS integration from our API's for Stored Value and Loyalty. The team was engaged and professional. Steady progress was made and the project was run with an organized approach by their dedicated Project manager.

I am very pleased that we partnered with Chetu. In February of 2020, I was encouraging my IT Manager to find a programming partner. My IT Manager did not want to work with a company but wanted to hire employees to work directly for him. It took several months to convince our IT Manager to look for a partner. When we started interviewing potential partners, we were really leaning towards nearshoring with a company called Wolox because of the time zone differences. The fact that Chetu is mostly working on our time zone got us comfortable with Chetu. If you are relying only on one person like an IT Manager or a CTO without additional programmers that know your production systems, you are crazy! By the way, I was crazy, but luckily I had breakfast with a fellow Entrepreneur in February of 2020, that told me to get a programming partner for my IT Manager. When my IT Manager just walked out the door with almost no notice and all the knowledge in July 2021, I would have been in big trouble if it wasn't for Chetu. I am sure we could have figured out something, but potentially going out of business could have happened without Chetu. We started in September of 2020 with 2 programmers at Chetu. Over a year later, we are now up to 6 full time programmers, and I can see getting to 12 programmers by this time next year. If I could go back in time, I would have partnered with Chetu sooner, and I would have put them in charge of production right away. Kirk King

We worked with a Chetu development team, on an ongoing basis, for almost 4 years. During that period the Chetu team (consisting of frontend developers, backend developers and project managers) were consistently productive and maintained high levels of communication. Members of their ‘core' team stayed on the project from day one until the final day of service. During this period we adjusted the number of developers to suit our project needs, at the height of our Chetu development team count we had four developers and two project managers (not including the QA support which also featured in the development cycle).

The work period involved a number of projects with the majority of work involving a single (large) web-based project that spanned the entire length of our work contract. The work involved the creation of new development features and the core architecture and database design. Throughout this period they also managed the version control until we brought those services in-house toward the end of the contract.

The most consistent part of their work, and strongest attribute in our eyes, is their productivity rate: their developers were highly industrious and we enjoyed a high acceptance rate for all the tasks we set. This also went hand-in-hand with their dedication and professional approach to our relationship. In fact one light criticism is they may have been too eager at times to accommodate our, sometimes over-reaching, requests in an attempt to please us and thereby stretching development to its limits. But this was as much our error for providing too much work in a set period of time. We evolved this process and eventually settled on a productive and reliable rate of delivery.

In terms of value, we believe we received very good cost-benefit value in the team setup. They essentially offer their project manager resource as a free service. In our case, Arvind, who not only was a highly experienced project manager but also had years of direct development experience, so he could also provide development consultation - all of which we received free as part of our standard contractual setup. The Chetu QA team that supplemented the development cycle was also provided as part of the standard contractual setup, and even though there were times where their QA could have been tighter, this was generally consistent and added to the very good value of the service.

We strongly recommend Chetu and, if needs present themselves, will certainly consider working with them again. Thank you again Chetu development team for your excellent dedication to our software projects.

I came to them with a concept for a new business application in October 2020, and BOTH the mobile and desktop versions were ready and working well only four months later.
