Bizrate gives $100 reward for survey, after an online purchase but does not tell you that this money is in the form of magazine subscriptions until after the survey, capturing your address, etc. information. I don't need your stinking magazine subs and upfront processing fee charges bizrate. I feel tricked!
I was told I would get a free year subscription to up to 4 magazines. Never saw anything but a bill. Disputed the charge with my credit card company. They're a bunch of filthy liars and thieves
Don't take their survey! I was told if I took the survey I would be eligible for a $100 Rewards card. I took it once, and once I submitted all my answers, I got the spin (hour glass spin). So I refreshed and started over. When I finished, I got the message "Sorry, your interview cannot be completed at this time, Please check back later." That's not going to happen! I just know I have been entered on every spam list there is!
Rip off! Said I'd be entered for $100 if I took a survey, when I finished it said 'congrats, here are your magazine subscriptions worth $100, just send $8 for processing'?!?! Bet I'll be on a spam list for years now!
Lure you into joining by phishing as legitimate survey about another business. Then when you click unsubscribe to their e-mails you reach a page that does not allow you to unsubscribe.
Is one of the the largest, fastest, and most accurate shopping search engine on the Web. You can save money and find top quality at this site.
Many years ago this site was invaluable for finding good online merchants, but something has happened to them. Now they make it difficult to check the ratings of particular merchants by name, and the link to go directly to merchant ratings is very small and near the bottom of their pages. When trying to rate a particular merchant, it brings you all the way through the "interview" process only to tell you at the end that an "internal error" has occurred. They seem more interested in being a shopping portal and directing you to stores that have no ratings (despite being around for a long time)... but of course the "rate" part of bizrate seems to be broken. Some of the most frequently rated (on other sites) online retailers are featured right at the top of bizrate's listings, impervious to the threat of acquiring ratings there themselves. As such, its become almost the opposite of what it was.
Website is free to browse & shop around. Results take you to different stores to buy items etc. Got to beware of your card when shopping. Make sure of who you trust with your credit card debit etc.
