Overall I think this is pretty cool if you get the right song, but most of the time, it's not good. I feel like this only works well with more chill electronic relaxed instrumentals, or simple beats.

It might be an impressive alpha version, but far from being remotely useful. I tried Hendrix' Hey Joe. Result was 96% Rock and 3% Blues, which is ok. But subgenres in the order of importance: surf music, psychedelic rock, new wave, post punk - Yeah, sure.
Nearly every time I try to input YouTube links they're not working here which is frustrating. Today was another of those days. It worked 2 weeks ago but now it doesn't and I'm greeted with an error and that I should contact support which I already did previously about the same issue a few months ago.
Honestly, it's not that good. I first try with some Garage, hoping to find Garage or at least House, but it gave me something else. Next one I tried a DnB track (more like break) with 140 bpm, it shows Progressive Break early, giving me some hope, but it shattered cuz it ends up with DUBSTEP. Then I tried another DnB with 170 bpm and it guess right (wohoo), then lastly I tried Dubstep (Future Bass) and it shows me Synth-pop? I think the AI needs to pay attention more to the drums and melody, cuz its what often determines the genre. Not reliable.
It called my industrial noise track "pop music" and upbeat and it said it can make people feel happy, actually surprised it didn't talk about lyrics this time but i think that's only cuz the message got cut off
It talks about lyrics even tho my track was 100% instrumental wtf?
Maybe gives you direction, but I think it's confused like LTBTQ+ person.

Not once has it gotten even close. I make trap metal. A cross between metal and rap. It's listed it as folk, techno, spoken word (completely ignoring the music)
It has heavy distorted guitars and banging distorted 808's there's no way to confuse it with anything but trap or metal. Literally a useless tool
I can finally figure out the genre of my music in seconds. There aren't many apps like this, so it is very helpful that this website is here.
