Dont ever use them

I had a leak from the shower and the initial team found the fault and also a solution. (I have also been advised by the doctor not to stress (FAT CHANCE) due to a condition I have)...

The LDR (Leak Detection Repair) team also cut away the damage of the ceiling which would involve another quote but I was assured throughout it would not be as expensive as the shower (2.8k to install three panels)

There was an call out fee and then for the fix there was the normal 50% up front followed by the remainder when completed.

When the two engineers arrived they had no hand over from the previous team that did the solution and also had not been with Aspect very long.

The comprised with one guy doing all the work and the other supervising all the time and occasionally help lifting stuff.

The solution involved three shower panels which I supplied and they was completely brand new. Not a mark / blemish. I mention this as once they installed them into my shower they one of the panels shows visible damage which they tried to fix by injecting mastic into the hole.

The time was around 4.15pm and the engineers knew I was annoyed as the quote for the ceiling repair from the previous team had finally been passed and to install two plaster boards and skim the area was another 2.5K... and look to rush off. One of the engineers that had been speaking to me all day disappeared (Not that I was bothered but its customer services 101) with the over hovering for me to pay so he could get off.

I work from home so I was unable to watch them like a hawk and in hindsight I should of.

At this point I looked further into the installation. One of the panels you can see has been stuck at a slant and has a visible gaps on side. Mastic on the drip tray that had to be scraped off. Waste everywhere around my property and not in one location as promised.

So the contact I had at Aspect insisted I used whatsapp to speak to him... this should of raised alarm bells but I just wanted this work completed and that Aspect look professional... looked being the key word.

Upon trying to message / call him he said he would register my complaint and that he would make sure that somebody would come back to me...

A day went by so I tried to call the main number to be told that no complaint had been registered. In my head was WTF I paid Aspect close to 3.3K and now they have they money they are not logging the call...

I was given an email address on Thursday which I emailed, included pictures, times, quotes etc... do you think I have even been acknowledge for logging a complaint.

Guess what your right and perhaps you should have a punt on the lottery as you have a better odds winning that that somebody coming back to you.

I am at a complete loss as to what to do next. I might even contact my credit card company and request they are for a refund for substandard service.

I hope people read this and avoid

I hired Aspect & Benham for a plumbing job, and it was the worst experience of my life. If you value your time, money, and sanity, STAY AWAY from these cowboys.
Lies & Deception – The plumber lied about the toilet not coming with a seat, then admitted it was just "bad quality." So which is it?
Fake Receipts? – The receipt he gave me had bank details that didn't match the supplier's. That's highly suspicious.
Rude & Aggressive Behavior – The plumber barged into my home, was hostile, and tried to charge me £50 extra for his own mistakes.
Patronizing Manager – The manager was condescending and dismissive, saying it was "just a 2-minute job" and cut me off mid-sentence while I explained their horrendous service.
Zero Accountability – Instead of fixing their mess properly, they refused to compensate me fairly and only offered a pathetic £10 refund.

I wasted two full days dealing with these incompetent, money-grabbing jokers.

Lesson learned: Cheap services = cut corners, bad attitudes, and dodgy practices. Don't make the same mistake. Spend your money elsewhere.

The Truth about Aspect Property Maintenance

Meaningless Guarantees, Broken Promises, False Claims of Concern, Misleading Statements of Standards

Aspect is a London based property maintenance company that provides tradespeople performing plumbing, electrics, heating, roofing, glazing, drainage, decorating and pest control on an emergency repair, planned maintenance or refurbishment work basis.

I am the tenant in a flat in relation to which Aspect was hired to carry out some roof repairs work this summer and as such dealt personally with the tradespeople provided by Aspect as well as the employees of Aspect in their head office when a number of issues went very, very wrong.

In my experience, Aspect is worse than a company that provides poor service. Aspect clearly knows how to describe quality services and knows what statements and promises potential customers look for. When problems arise, Arise knows how to express concern that their "usual" quality standards have been met. They give "guarantees" about the service provided and service expectations. They make are statements about the standards they meet and providing peace of mind. They claim never to over-promise.

But they don't know live up to their promises, their standards, their guarantees or even their claims of concern. They know what they should provide and what they promise to provide. They just don't deliver.

I recently posted a review about the problems I had after my well-intentioned landlord hired Aspect to carry out some roofing repairs. While the roof was adequately repaired in the review I described how everything else about dealing with Aspect was a problem.

I described the problem when the scaffolding Aspect erected with a huge "Aspect" sign was left in place for weeks after the job was complete, long after it was reasonable that it should have been removed. The scaffolding was only finally taken down after pointed, then annoyed, then angry messages were left demanding its removal.

I described the struggle when Aspect left a large pile of debris covering the front garden of the property, and despite assurances that the mound of debris would be removed shortly after the scaffolding was removed nothing was done for weeks. Despite repeated requests by my landlord, Aspect left the debris so long that it became a neighbourhood tip, an eyesore and a health hazard. Eventually, my landlord incurred the cost of having the debris removed by a private contractor, as Aspect failed to respond and refused to clear up the mess they left behind.

I described the careless actions and uncaring attitude of Aspect. Aspect damaged the building when erecting their scaffolding, disconnected fittings and failed to reconnect them despite repeated requests to do so. They managed to disturb and apparently dislodge a wasp's nest, which resulted in my second floor flat being infested with wasps. As a result, I was repeatedly stung by the angry wasps, and I am now required to incur the additional expense of having the wasp nest removed as a result of Aspect's clumsy and careless behaviour.

Aspect responded to the review I posted, and their response confirmed all of the points which I have raised. They admitted that they were aware of the problems caused by their work. They also admitted that they had failed to deal with these problems. They were also aware that the problems had been brought to their attention and that despite their knowledge of the problems and that the problems had been raised with them, they had done nothing.

In the response of Aspect they claimed they wanted to resolve the problems that had been raised so I responded to Aspect twice in an effort to take them up on their claim. Aspect done nothing to respond to me and has just gone silent.

When the actions and responses of Aspect are considered, my experience has been:

- The Aspect Guarantee – UNDEPENDABLE
- Aspect's promises of service support – BROKEN
- Aspect's claims about customer support – MEANINGLESS
- Aspect's assurance of peace of mind – MISLEADING
- Aspect's claims of concern – ARTIFICIAL
- Aspect's service standards – POINTLESS

The real problem with Aspect is not just their deficient performance and service failures. It is the fact that they know what standards should be met and promise to meet those standards and fix problems when they arise, when they clearly have no intention of doing so. Their failures are therefore deliberate. This makes Aspect a service provider which should be avoided at all costs.

Don't pay in full until you are completely satisfied that all work and follow-up work and equipment removal has been carried out
