Unethical company that scams people: A small world steal your data and send you lot of spam, only for the good of cheating people: stay away!
They barely have people in their events. In coffee conversation, they don't have coffee just Tea and fries denied staff to provide that while is already charged in ticket. Clubbing multiple events of book reading, discussion chai pe charcha etc due to less participation. After clubbing then we have 4 people.
Try to sale and lure you for Speed dating, barely have girls. Once you denies their speed dating, they rudely cut you off pretend they don't know you.
I think you have confused us with another company. ASMALLWORLD does not and has never been involved with speed dating nor do we host any events of this nature.
Not worth the time or money. Very little value in their services and their customer service is the absolute worst (particularly Sofia in member services). I tried to cancel my membership before I was charged for another year and they fought me down to the minute of when I logged in saying that I didn't log in in time to cancel so they would not refund my money and reset my membership date for 2 days after my cancellation. On top of it they also blocked access to their app from the time I cancelled it so I paid for another year and then couldn't use it! Worst company ever and I hope they go under.
Hi there, this doesn't sound consistent with our policies so I would love to try to resolve this for you as we provide refunds up to two weeks from charge date. Our system is unable to charge a renewal fee if the user has cancelled the membership. Please write to us at support so we can look up this issue and find a solution. Members often cancel their accounts without realising that means cessation of service but if you have paid for your membership we will absolutely rebuild the account so you can use it until the current membership term expires.
Beware when you sign up for a "free" membership that they collect a bunch of your personal information as well as your picture. Later they can reject and block you for no reason and use your information you dont know how.

Asw is bang on time when it comes to invoicing the fee. If you cancel your subscription before renewal is due, you cant access anymore your account, although you paid for the full year. This means you cannot download anymore the invoices you already paid and if you write to their support email, even after a week no reply. Recommendation: stay away from Asw. Not worth a Dollar.
Hi Pascal, looks like there was confusion between "cancel your subscription" and "terminate your membership." If you simply cancel your subscription, you can continue to use your membership until it expires. If you choose to terminate your membership, which, from what you wrote, it appears you did, your membership is terminated with immediate effect.
Members have the option to turn off or on their automatic subscription payments without terminating their memberships.
Took a trial thinking i will pay for premium, i was block with no reason. I think people who are running this app have no business sense good luck to them we will see

Half of profiles are fakes and scams... the rest are some "gold diggers" that are trying to find rich guys in order to "escort" and "entertain" them and the rest of them don't even bother to login anymore!
As for your events i would be more than surprised if more than two people will attend to them! If they ever take place :D! !

This is a site for stupid narcissistic people who like to think that they are superior. If anybody pays 5000$ for this $#*! is probably disabled!
I have worked with this company for years and they were accommodating but now they need way to much information, bank statements, compliance forms, driver's license and now documentation of recipient. No longer a company to rely on.
I believe you are confusing us with another company. We offer travel services and products to our community and do not, and have never, required bank statements, compliance forms, drivers' licenses etc.
You can cancel your registration, they delete your account and, taking advantage that you provided your credit/debit card, they will charge you and unless you cancel that card for fraud, they will charge again and VISA will wash their filthy hands. This is a fraud.
DO NOT GET IN THE TRAMP: A SMALL WORLD only sells ego for nothing. You pay for being in a supposed platform with zero interactions. Useless for all purposes: dating, business, traveling...

Dont let them fool you and steal your money. Trust me. I lost 100€ to nothing after I cancelled.

I think the first idea was good but its just old, dusty and not cool anymore.
I was a member in Chicago. There was a clique there led by a female who would not let "outsiders" in. And the only requests for "meetings" I received were from men - and the vibe was definitely "looking for one-night-stand".
I signed up to this site years ago just after the Swiss ceo took over (I think Patrick is his name, I'm swiss myself) and they advertised that they'll provide a trip for the members to st. Kitties the carribean island completely free for all members. Needless to say, said trip never came to to fruition, it was never mentioned again after I signed up for the membership, and my email inquiring about it was completely ignored, yet around 10! Years later I still receive plenty of spam emails from them even after I unsubscribed from their mailing list.

As reviews below mentioned they will charge you without notice. But thats not the worst thing. I was a member for a while whilst living in Toronto and also attended get togethers all over the world. This network attracts the most insecure, bland people who have personalities of ping pong balls but are pretty wealthy. Every event is the same, boring stupid small talk, no substance, low self esteem, no charisma. Bunch of snobs really with nothing to say.
This service offers nothing and take your money without authorisation. Unfortunately i didnt pay with credit card so i couldnt report fraud! A day after they took the money for my membership I asked them to return it and cancel my annual membership and they said no. They automatically checked automatic renewal without my agreement. They are fallen company that's why they make money on this credit card scam!
Nothing exclusive. Anyone can become a member and people I met at their events were as ordinary and boring as random people you meet at random bars. Don't waste your time and money. And yes, they do charge without notice and deactivate your account without explanation. And the customer service refuses to refund and even accuses you of making a complaint. I argued back very logically by pointing out how unprofessional they were and eventually they gave me back my money. It took me some time though. I immediately deactivated my credit card for just in case.
A site for a bunch of elitest $#*!s who look down on normal people. Hopefully some serial killer will infiltrate the site and wipe some of them out.

It lost the overall quality and trustworthy. Plus once you are a member they will take money from your account renew your subscription without notice - an automatic renewal disable function is not an option on the website. I asked for a refund few days later and they denied. It's all about money...
Today a big spam wave is going around the world, seems to be one of the last efforts of ASmalworld to get more popular, since they did not succeed since many years... sad.
