Only store credit for returns. What a joke!

Absolutely horrible experience. I spent over $1100 buying multiple sizes just to work out what fit me best, assuming I'd simply return what didn't fit. Only after purchasing did I realise they only offer STORE CREDIT instead of refunds, and this was nowhere near clear enough during checkout. For a company charging premium prices, this policy is incredibly misleading and unfair. Customers should not have to dig through fine print to discover they can't get their money back. Now I'm stuck with hundreds and hundreds of dollars in store credit for items I never wanted to keep because only a few actually looked good in person. I would never have spent that amount if the return policy had been properly disclosed upfront. Extremely disappointed and won't be shopping here again, once the credit runs out of course!

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled as I was so disappointed with my purchase of the Sunshine Within Dress from Amaroso. As soon as I took it out of the packaging I could feel it was absolutely terrible quality. I have had better quality before from Shein clothing. It looks absolutely nothing like it does in their adverts, in fact their adverts are so deceiving compared to what you actually receive. The colour looked like an electric blue, when in fact it is navy and the material is so so thin and looks so cheap. I contacted Amaroso to ask for a refund as I wouldn't want to purchase anything else from their store, but they wouldn't give me one and said all they can give is a credit, so I am stuck trying to find something else to use the credit. If you want to purchase anything, you pay for shipping to receive it, shipping again to return it if it is not suitable and shipping again to use the credit to purchase something else. Would never purchase from this company again.

Buyer beware - do not risk your moneyBuyer beware - I really want people to know about their after purchase customer service - like other reviews on PRODUCT REVIEW site - quality is poor, my dress pilled after one wear and I only had it on for 6 hours - they dont offer refunds, they charge you to try on the clothes and if they dont fit then you have to pay to return them - the clothing sizes are all different - they cannot guarantee what you purchased is what you will get and then they charge you to return it. They have no compassion, send generic copied and pasted responses as you will see here in their responses, they dont listen to customers, they brush you off - do not risk your money - go to kmart as that is the quality they are selling online here and at least kmart gives you a refund, doesnt charge you to try on clothes, and clothes dont pill after one wear!

Horrible service. Purchased a few dresses and had to return a few as they did not fit me. Advised I would have to pay $8.95 shipping label for them to be returned as they did not fit me. I advised that their size chart on their website is incorrect and therefore would need like a store credit or refund. They are uncooperatively advising that I will have to pay $8.95 for a return of faulty items, otherwise they will discard my items after 30 days. I advised and showed them consumer laws and they still, don't care.

Don't do this to yourself! Go elsewhere.

The worst ever...

This is the worst online store ever! Was there customer for a while, some things I bought were ok, some a miss... But last one was disaster! I purchased a dress in black, it was ok dress and I need it SAME dress in different colour. I found one in pink under same NAME, SAME DESCRIPTION AND SAME PHOTOS as the black one... so I thought I was in luck... But when the dress arrived, was I in shock! The dress is not even similar to the black one! So I contacted them and requested a refund! But they refused... finding all this excuses... But they post was just misleading! Anyway, they just lost a customer, I will take it to the consumer affairs and will tell anyone I know how bad they are!

I ordered a dress off amaroso for Melbourne cup, when it arrived I was utterly disappointed. It was shein quality and just didn't look anything at all like the pictures on the website. When I kindly asked for a refund Samantha an employee just sent a gift card. I didn't want to make a fuss so I placed another order, another dress arrived that was again poor quality and nothing like the photos online. I have now asked 4 times for a refund and am getting no responses. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

They claim to be all about customer service but I'm $140 out of pocket that's including the postage I've had to pay for to it to be sent back.

This is my favourite online store. The clothes are so amazing I have to limit myself on checking the website. Customer service is brilliant. Queries are dealt with almost immediately, postage is so quick and any problems are resolved in a professional and timely manner. Would highly recommend this company and its products.

My entire wardrobe is Amaroso store collection
But you should offer more loyalty points or some form of discounts for loyalty customers
I have recommended your store to all my family and friends and they love it too
Should have a loyalty points program or discount on your birthday or more sales
Would help a lot these days

I have purchased a few dresses from Amarosa for an event. Due to the lack of try on facilities at Amarosa, I had sent an email prior to my purchase to ask if there was a service which offered trying garments on and was told "we are a online store only" and not advised that refunds wouldn't be offered at this time. I have only got these dresses for my sons christening and given the hard times for people at the moment, with Interest rate rises and cost of living being through the roof I was extremely dissapointed to be told we only offer credits and no refunds, the sale items I got, I have had to keep due to non returns, which have come to me in bad condition, extremely unironed and of poor quality. I believe the customer service I have received around this was poor to say the lease and non sympathetic to me as a customer. All items that I have purchased were of cheap quality and not to my satisfaction. On top of this poor service I have had to pay $9.60 to return only full priced items.
Do not recommend this online company at all.

Scammers and Ilegal

Probably the worst quality clothing. The customer service is completely disgusting. They don't refund instead they give a credit note which is ILEGAL in Australia, and why would I want more of your dodgy clothes. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IN THESE HORRIBLE STORE

AVOID! Can't return for a refund and sizing runs very small. Store credit given only and you have to pay for returns. Returns on sale items will not be refunded or given as a store credit, DO NOT BUY sale items unless 100% sure.

Overcharged and not refunded

Long sleeve dress only went 3/4 down my arm. Amaroso will not give a refund (despite item being full price and me sending them a photo of my sleeve length to prove it was only 3/4 down my arm (as they had requested to prove it was 3/4 down my arm) then told me it was meant to go 3/4 down. I had to pay for a return label ($9.15) and the website came up with error after I ended my credit card details. This happened twice, upon checking my internet banking I realized they'd charged me twice (now $18.30 overcharged for return postage) and had still not given me a return label. I contacted them asking them to refund this but they told me I would have to contact Australia Post to get a refund from them (despite it being their website's fault). After a long back and fourth through emails and wasted time I've cut my losses, without the refund, without a return label or refund for overcharging for return postage. I would avoid Amaroso Boutique at all cost.

I was sceptical at first (as I am with online stores) but I put an order in and received it the very next day, all of the items (2 dresses) I got were so beautiful. I would highly recommend.
