Placed an order on March 16,2016 and status always says "in warehouse". After 10 days without a notice saying out for shipment, I emailed customer service 2 times and was told it would ship right out. It is now 19 days and it took 2 phone calls to finally be told that the order was misplaced and all but 2 items were now out of stock. I will never shop here again!
I have been buying their talks for YEARS and the quality has gone down the drain. You can tell by the labels being different in the exact same pair of pants. Even made out of different materials now. Customers service is atrocious. 45 min on hold several times. Never a call back. Do not buy here
I shopped Alloy in the past and never had a problem until now. The quality of the clothes and customer service took a dive for the worst! I ordered a jacket back in December, it was too small. I exchanged it for a bigger size, but it was too big. They received my return on 28Jan15 and claimed they sent a check in the mail. I asked for them to credit my paypal account. I was told they could not do that. Since I never received the "so called check" they offered me a credit and 20% off on another purchase. No, I just want my money back. Then I tried to email them, then that representitive told me, I paid with a merchandise credit, so they will give me another credit. So, when is PayPal considered merchandise credit?!? Anyway, I can tell this is going to be difficult. I wrote to the BBB, hopefully, this can be resolved in me getting my money back. If you haven't already, please write the BBB. I'm going to notify PayPal as well. Good luck to me and everyone else in the same boat.
Alloy has lied to me several times, without regard for the fact that someone there used my credit card to make a purchased for someone across the country. I have spent thousands of dollars on their products… It is certainly not worth it looking back.…When they promised repeatedly to return my money. They never did. I had to dispute it with my bank for which they still have not done the right thing when they clearly stated they made the mistake. Now they have the nerve to send me a gift card forcing me to make purchases through them in they charged me. It is unacceptable I considered for giving the mistake and beginning to use their company again… I'm glad that I did not because their customer service screwed up again... and they still haven't returned my money. You trust them you're a fool like I was
I had to contact customer service several times in order to get a response. I ordered several items on sale. They told me my card company had not approved the order - but only after I contacted them. My card said the order was approved. They cancelled my order which I still wished to purchase. They were not helpful, and I was really disappointed.
Cancelling my order. I have tried to contact twice by email and 3 time by phone only to be on hold for 20 minutes each time. I have yet to speak to or receive an email other than the auto response.
Horrible customer service. Mixed my order up and got it wrong. I was lies too. Hung up on. And to top it off they wanted more money lol
I ordered 2 pairs of jeans, one pair was on back order. I received the first pair in a timely manner. I'm mad because they said the 2nd pair will not ship until December 12th which is fine but they also took the whole payment ( for both pairs of jeans)from my debit card and told me they are going to take it out again. Not going to happeb
So I oredered online the Alloy site about three days ago and honestly I felt stupid because the site said id get an immediate email never did so I dreadfully went to look at the reviews AFTER I placed my order, so the next day rolls around and im just stressing hoping I didnt get fraud or scamed and called the customer service. So far they have been nothing but respectful reashuring and helpful with me and my order placed I was really excited today when I recieved an email stating that my order was shipped! Iam excited to recieve my product and will be posting a different review hopefully better then thia last one to reasure you customers at alloy is a great place of shopping. Fingers crossed! Ill be back!
It took over a month to receive two out of three items that I ordered. I still haven't received the third item after two months. I returned the two items because of poor quality and fit.
They don't tell you that they will not accept returns or exchanges if it was a clearance sale item. I am stuck with two items of clothing that are too small for me and cannot exchange for something else. So much for online shopping.
CLOTHING DID NOT ARRIVE IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS AS THE SITE PROMISED. ALLOY HAS IGNORED ALL OF EMAILS IN ASKING FOR A REFUND. I AM NOT GOING TO BE BACK IN THE COUNTRY TO SHIP THEM BACK.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMR SERVICE
HORRIBLE COMPANY
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
DO NOT BUY FROM ALLOY
For about 10 years I've been shopping on and off with Alloy. In the beginning, I had no problems with them, but the reviews have me on the fence
This is the 3rd time I've ordered from Alloy, Shirts I've ordered are of poor quality, so now I only order pants. Recently ordered a couple pairs of jeans, they fit so I washed them of course, and the 3rd time I wore the one pair, and I know that because they are a 37" inseam and I wear them with heels, the button that is attached with a rivet, came out of the hole. Called CS, they told me since I washed and wore them that they would not exchange them. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was placed on eternal hold, and after 40 minutes waiting, I hung up. Horrible policy, to rip off the consumer that only wanted them replaced, not refunded, is wrong. BUYER BEWARE!
I ordered shoes back in August and was told they were back ordered. Here is October and I haven't heard anything about the shoes and I couldn't go check my order status because have of the links on their site don't work. After making a twitter complaint I was emailed saying the shoes had been discontinued... WHEN WERE THEY GOING TO TELL ME? At the email they said, "I hope you will shop with us again!". NO. NEVER AGAIN.
I placed an order with Alloy two weeks ago and received an order confirmation that same day. I have yet to receive any shipping information after TWO WEEKS. The shipping costs $18 and is estimated for a time of 7 to 10 business days. What the hell?! A few nights ago, I sat on hold with customer service for OVER an hour and finally selected the option to leave a callback number. After doing so, the hold music kept playing for another 20 minutes before I hung up out of frustration. The following night I tried again and actually got through to a disinterested, unhelpful customer service rep. She gave me the run-around and said my order couldn't be processed because I paid with PayPal. Why would your company even offer PayPal as a payment option if you can't process such orders?! She said to call back the next day. I told her I would not do that, and she said she'd leave my number with a supervisor who would call in the morning. Twenty-four hours later... no call. I'm not shocked after reading the other TrustPilot reviews. Should any Alloy bigwigs take a gander at my review (not likely since they think customers can go screw themselves), you better get your sh*t together before you end up bankrupt like many catalog-happy, teen-clothing companies like yourself. It's absolutely outrageous that you'd treat your customers in such a way.
Buyer Beware! I placed an order for merchandise at the beginning of July. The order was lost in the mail. I had to wait two additional weeks to have them resend. During that time, one item was sold out. Instead of crediting my card, they issued me a gift card. When the other items arrived, one was damaged and the others did not fit. I returned them and had the tracking number that showed receipt three days later. One month passed and no refund. Finally had to call them - waiting 45 minutes on Hold and they did not resolve the issue but promised to call with resolution later that day. 8 days later, still no call back and no refund. Another call and another half hour wait and they finally gave me the credit. So, they essentially had my money for 2+ months before they resolved the issue. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from this company again.
I have been shopping with a alloy for almost 4 years. Recently I order a pair of jeans and they sent me someone else's order with their information and clothes inside of the package. I called customer service to tell them that I received someone else's package and they told me that I had to send the package back and wait 11 days in order for them to ship out a new pair of jeans or to get a refund. I asked them was there any way that they could send go ahead and send my jeans since it was a mistake that I didn't make and the customer service lady acted as if there was nothing she could do. I expressed my frustrations to her that I needed my jeans by certain time and she acted as if she could care less. Horrible experience.
So I went online and bought about $200 worth of clothes in the beginning of May 2015. The order was separated into three different shipments because some had to be back ordered, which I knew. But what I didn't know was that they only charged $78.95 to my card and I later found out that they were wanting authorization to charge my card again in June. I thought that when I placed my order that they would have taken out all the money. I can no longer afford the order that they didn't charge me for. I buy myself clothes once a year with my taxes and now that its gone I cannot afford to buy the rest of my clothes because they didn't charge the full amount at the time of purchase. I am very disappointed and this is not the first problem I've had with them which makes me sad because I like the stylish clothes but I don't know if I will shop here again. Very disappointing.
BUYER BEWARE OF ALLOY APPAREL. Placed my first order of multiple items recently. Was very disappointed by the quality of the clothing. Returned 3 items (wanted to return all of them but I was trying to be nice!). They issued me only partial credit for my returns and, worse than that, despite my request that they put the refund on my credit card, they issued me STORE CREDIT instead. After 2 unanswered emails and 2 phone calls, they tell me the reason for partial credit and only STORE CREDIT is because the items I returned were damaged somehow which is an outright lie. I tried the items on once and returned them with labels attached. I order from a lot of online and catalog clothing merchants and had come to take for granted they could be counted on to deal honestly with customers. Wrong! Buyer beware of this racket called Alloy Apparel.
