Yes they are, on my part, mostly men that are not ready for relationships, out of prison, recently divorced, those were mostly the ones I met, but that's my luck lol, they are real I met with alot of them.

Some are. Just ask a lot of questions. If they beat around answerimg, move on to another.

It seems to be common practice with dating websites to float empty profiles, plant fake models and use fake winks & flirts. Yes, I've met real people on Zoosk. There are scammers, as others have said; ask many questions. If anyone asks you for money, a red flag should go up. Also, people keep secrets. Many married people use dating websites, so if you have trouble connecting, or keeping dates, move on. There are also people with substance abuse issues. There was a military scammer I came across on Zoosk.

I went out with one man who was very nice, was exactly what/who he claimed to be, and we had a nice time. I think the chemistry may not have been there for me, but that was a good date.

I chatted with some real men who were on there for a while. We were discussing these same issues. I think on-line dating works better for some people than others. Like the gentleman said in a comment earlier, I am leaving it to fate now.

When it comes right down to it, the sites are entertainment. They get you out once in a while, give you something to talk about, and take your mind off your troubles. But in the end, it's their goal to make money. They're pretty good at it.

Some are obviously but my experience was amazing! Met my perfect match! Anyway just be careful of "the Catfish". They're going to be everywhere, it's online dating. Just ask lots of questions and totally blow off any that are out of the country, supposedly in the military, and talk about how much they love you within a week! And you may never have spoken to them yet! Bunch of psychos, lol, but it's only funny cause it's true! Best of luck to you!

They are real, but most men I spoke to are definitely NOT ready for a committed relationship (even though most of them emphasize in their profiles that is EXACTLY what they are looking for) and are simply looking for someone to have sex with on the first date! I also believe that even if they like you and you have some chemistry, they want to continue to date more wonen just in case they find a "better" one.

While I certainly understand that, almost every date I had ended with the man saying he was very interested in me and asking me for another date. What I learned was that unless the second date was set up right then, I would never hear from them again. Why even mention a second date if that is clearly not the intention?!?

For the most part, the men I met on this site were just horny liars hoping to "score" on the first date and when they didn't, moved on to their next victim! I ended up meeting a man on Facebook that I went to high school with. We got reacquainted and we are now engaged. In my case, fate stepped in and Zoosk stepped out!
