My home has been on the market for three weeks now and zillow has yet to pick it up. Is there a reason for this?

If you are FSBO you have to input all your information yourself. You are the contact person. Make sure you are always updating it to keep it current. If you are FSBO and bought a MLS package make sure you put the MLS number on it it helps you sell it. As an aside, if you offer a slight commission to a broker you get more looks and realtors will show your house. Good luck

Most homes are listed by agents. However, at one point, though I had not changed agents, my home suddenly showed "not for sale" when the only change was a price reduction. The realtor tried to fix it, but eventually I had to post it as FSBO, and added the realtor's contact info. I still do the updates, as hers don't show at all.

That is incorrect, a complete falsehood. The homes listed on Zillow also have a FSBO section where the owner of the property can sell it themselves. It doesn't have to be an MLS listing, you don't have to use an agent. However, because Zillow has changed some of the set up of the FSBO page, you will want to put your name & contact information FIRST in the house description. Note you are not working with an agent. See the FSBO topic I've mentioned.

Hi. My name is Kathleen Trotta, REALTOR, SRS with Sibcy Cline REALTORS in Northern Kentucky and to answer your question. The homes are listed on Zillow by the Agents. Most, are not automatically uploaded from each agents MLS. I would ask your agent to place your home on Zillow for you.
