When site says 925 silver is it actually sterling silver?

No! I purchased a set of "sterling silver" necklaces. Fake metal. If you read the descriptions closely you will realize these are not native English speakers and they may just put anything on there to sell whether intentionally knowing it's misleading or not.

925 means sterling silver, 92.5 percent sterling silver
