I'm not positive how far but I do know when my daughter got her phone stolen it was thrown out of a moving car going 50+mph and the only damage was a small knick the size of a pen tip in one corner of the case absolutely no damage to the phone screen or camera lenses. If that helps. I honestly couldn't recommend the amazing quality of these cases anymore than that. She also still uses the case because she uses the phone for games.
