I've never had a problem. I've used them multiple times. I would contact their customer service if you are worried.

During the order process, you should be directed to their payment processing site. Upon completion of your payment, you are directed back to Ultius. At that point, you should see a confirmation that your payment has been processed and that your paper will be assigned to one of their "world class writers" soon. You can verify if your payment was processed through their Live Chat.

I have ordered more than once from them, so I know they are legit, as in they really exist and provide this service... If they have asked you for further information it is probably necessary, as I think it wouldn't make sense for them to scam some and provide de service to others...
I am writing just so you feel at ease, because I know it might be a substantial sum and are worried.
Their customer service is really fast, and they have a live chat, talk to them... Just prepare yourself, they are not too bright in this department.

I have never had a major problem with them. The few paper issues I had were always rectified. As for the payment, I pay with a credit card and never had an issue. I'm about to make a purchase with them today. Sorry you are having problems. I always fear these things happening to me but I guess I have been lucky.

Don't listen to the above person. I have used Ultius 5 times, and have received excellent service and papers. Also I remember I had to send them my license so they could verify who I was. I called the company directly to make sure this was correct, bc it seemed really weird, but they said it was part of the process and I did it, and have never had a problem. I of course blocked out all the fields on my license that they did not need. Hope this helped.

I did not have to verify anything. The process is through paypal, but a suggestion. Stop payment on your transaction. I would not use them they have terrible service they had to refund my money. If you would like the site I used send me your personal email and I will be more than happy to give you that information.
