When you get free 5$ free credit does that just count as your payment or do they pull money out of your account too?

I have been using this site for 2 weeks now. I also started using the site Ruby. Each gave me a $10.00 credit. When I first signed up. But I had to bid over 10.00 or it would not apply. But it took it off and I ended up paying $2.00 for shipping
For a smart watch. I was every happy now waiting on it to come in.
