They are simply a crooked company just out for the almighty dollar. They mistreat both customers and sellers. Take the reviews to heart. Go shop elsewhere and save yourself money and stress.

Tricks is right about tophatter and the are the ones who should police their sellers, NOT the bidders! I for one have got so much junk that I never hit the bid button on. Cost to much to return and I am not going to open any other package from them. Have filed complaints with Feds and my pay fro accounts. Closed tickets without responding and will NOT answer phone calls. 99% junk, fake and after charging e over 800.00 I am fighting back. Scammers even after charging me for all this junk and before I knew of these bogus charges they wanted a compy of my Id will then I realized that they were closing my complaint tickets and I will NOT send them anymore info about e so warned my credit card and they are working on it!

What I've learned from dealing on Tophatter is if you see dealing with a vendor you haven't dealt with before, start small to see if they are reliable. Even try buying something then ask for a refund/return/cancel to see how easily they react. One vendor refused to refund. One didn't return any emails until the item had been shipped, then it was going to cost me money to return the item. They have lots of tricks. But, not all vendors are bad, you just have to be careful. It's a buyers responsibility to be careful, no matter what Tophatter says, they do not provide the help they say they do.
