How long does it take to receive payment and I am hearing a lot of negative comments about sellers, I have very nice unused clothes, shoes , etc. If I am going to get completely ripped off I want to know. Just trying to do research for the best solution.

Yes, you will get completely ripped off. Give your clothes to a consignment shop, have a yard sale, or just give it to a thrift store.

What you've read here is true: Thredup takes weeks and weeks to process your items, and you receive almost nothing in return. Just give the clothes to Goodwill.
