I do not understand the "dimensions" given for clothing. For example a sweater - 4.5 x 2.1 x 5.7 inches. What and where are these measurements taken?

Once an item is folded and packaged, it's measured and weighed. THAT'S what those dimensions are.

As a Swap.com employee I can verify it is the size of the package.
