Let me just say, I wish I had checked the size chart! If you are bigger than a 12, definitely get the men's version.

Hey, women's tees are printed on American Apparel, which are very nice, but run very small. They run a little larger than juniors sizing. For this reason, many women choose to buy our men's / unisex cut t-shirts. Especially because a looser fit is popular right now. We're currently testing some looser fit women's tees for the future. Thx!

My advice would be to order two sizes up. My daughter is a very petite small and she needed a large so that it wasn't skin tight.
