Rosegal
Questions & Answers

I got a message saying i need to send a copy of PHOTO ID and the last 4 numbers on my credit card that are normally encrypted in internet transactions, is this a scam? I have a hard time understanding what rosegal needs to know what I look like in a picture in order to feel safe about selling to me?

As it’s the first and large order on our website, according to our company policy, and in order to protect the benefits of both seller and buyer, we'd like to confirm the payment information first.
Don't worry about it, we just want to make sure that this transaction was indeed made by the card holder, and we won't use it for any other purpose.

I have never had them ask me for that information before and I have also paid through paypal. Sounds like a scammer email knowing you were ordering something from there. I would send them a help ticket notifying them of this email you received.
