Roblox
Questions & Answers

My question is about parental controls. I've read about the social aspect of the controls. What about the content? My son comes home from his dad's house talking about this game. Subsequently, also wakes up with nightmares. Please educate me about the content controls on this game. Thank you

This game is bad and I don't understand how any parent can pay this company, it has nudity, perverts, pedophiles, blood, hacking off body parts etc.

Other people will be rude time to time the good thing is if he is younger than 13 he cannot see certain words like curse words. Make sure he isn't playing scary games because there is a couple games. That have violence.

One thing you should try doing is asking him which games on Roblox he is playing. Then maybe you can tell him to play some other games on Roblox instead. I'd also recommend talking to him about how Roblox games aren't real and that he shouldn't be scared of them.
Also, if you haven't tried turning off his ability to chat with others in the settings yet, then that's usually a good place to start too if it's not the games upsetting him.

@Denise B.
Prison life is a game about breaking out of prison or keeping the prison safe by being a prisoner or being a police respectively.

There is a way to make him not talk to people or see the chat, (Which is probably what's going on that it's people being mean to him) You can go to the settings, privacy, and put who can chat we me to no one. This prevents him to see chat in games. This may upset your son, but if he keeps having problems I suggest doing this.

My son is 17 and hasn't left the house as he is scared of the guards beating and screaming at him. He is mentally scared. But he is addicted and has spent thousands of dollars. It keeps him occupied but he is terrified.
