Im curiousif the last log in times for people are accurate? There is a guy who claims ive been on all day every all day and he is obviously creepy. I havent been on to even check emails so is the last online time stamp with date for real or does the mobile app tie to whenever using your cellphone in general

The problem with time stamps is... a) when using the desktop site: it shows you always logged in unless you log out. B) On the app: it always shows you are logged in whenever it sends you push notifications. C) For both app and desktop: it shows you logged in when you check the email links (aka: weekly matches, someone favored you, etc). D) anytime someone mutual matches you you are shown as active.
The site does try to maintain a certain level of activity to remain relevant. So it will doctor activity based on the lack of activity in your region.

I think it's fairly accurate. But some people don't log out, and can appear to still be on-line.
I agree with others, time to block him and/or report the behavior.

My guess is by doing this it shows more people appearing online thsn actually are, looks good for POF

No he's caught you, or you wouldn't even be bothered. If you have paid the upgrade it will tell you their last log in. Your name appears above their inbox when your online which is accurate

If he could provide A screenshot of it saying you are online during the time you think you or not there's been several times I log out and when I go log back in I'm already logged in I believe the app is messed up, and to answer the other question the timestamps all screwed up there ever right there's nothing in real time it's all delayed it goes through a process through POF I believe they favor the paid members myself I have been on POF for over a year and only got 1 chat I'm not that bad looking and I will not post my possessions hope it helps.

1. If he is creepy BLOCK him
2. No, it's not accurate. That's about a 15 minute window of error.
3. Please remember it is a FREE site, meaning anyone is allowed to join until POF has banned them.
Happy Hunting.

I had a girl stop seeing me because she said I was always on the dating site. Sometimes I appeared as on the site but actually my computer was on but I wasn't even home. The best thing to do is to sign out. Not just exit the site, but physically sign out.

The best thing to do number 1 is block him. And always log off every time you leave the site. I accused someone of being online and they were supposedly at work. Just be careful.
