I met someone last year after separating from my wife. Divorce should be through fairly soon.
We probably will marry at some point - but there's no rush. I know another couple who met on POF a year ago and it looks likely they'll get married.
POF is just a way to meet. It's what you do once you've met that counts!

A website doesn't guarantee anything. All it does is bring that initial attraction together. What happens from there is entirely up to the two people. And I have to disagree with you Michelle, it is not ALL a game. It is the people that make it a 'game'. Like I stated in my review, you get what you put into it. And to answer the initial question, the answer is YES. I am engaged to someone I met on POF.

No site will guarantee marriage. After you meet a person from a dating site in person whatever happens next is not the sites responsibility. If you meet face to face them it is 100% up to you what happens next. Come on people! You can't blame a dating site for your mistakes AND lack of common sense.

It's all a game on that site. Everyone is looking for something. No one wants a commitment. It's better you paid a membership for a reputable dating website like Eharmony, Match or Zoosk. Good luck on your search Cherie!
