This shipping calculator part is very tricky because no customer care service from any of the online sites will mention the net weight ir the dimensions after packaging and its not possible to contact these people when outside the us. Is there a way around this?

What would be nice is if they could take care of the tax and duty up front. Amazon do this now, it's a great service because your package clears so much more quickly through Tax/Customs where it can get stuck for days. That would be a really great thing MyUS could do.

The MyUS.com staff are so helpful, as you would be aware I'm located "Downununder" (Sydney, NSW, Australia) and I cannot speak highly enough about the custoomer service provided to me on many many ocassions.
To finish my statement, I think it must have been the wrong time of the month for Tony F. To post an outrageous comment about MyUS.com as he has done.

This calculator is just to give you estimate shipping cost however it happens once that I argued their cost after delivery because they used bigger box than what they could have used, they were convinced and paid me back about 22% of total cost.

Yes Joe. The way around it is to not use the service. Unless of course you are okay paying exorbitant shipping charges.
