Does match REVIEW the contents of email messages created by paying members that are created within match.com's message/email system? Does match ALTER the contents of email messages created by paying members that are created within match.com's message/email system?

Yes they do read emails. On more than a dozen tmes I had messages that were marked as read by profiles that had not been active for days. I was also warned for sending excessive messages because I sent someone 2 unanswered messages a few days apart. I would just avoid Match all together if I were you.

They shouldn't. It's the same like if Google check your emails. Might be in case of investigation.
