I live in Canada and I ordered a wig from shopwigs.ca which is based in China (I think). There's no info on their site as to where they're located. My item was shipped from China. Does anyone know if I'll also pay duty when it arrives?

After reading the reviews of customers, it look like i have joined the very long list of conned customers when it comes to returning goods, I am now stuck with a pair of shoes I will never wear, and £36 pound worse off! Thanks LITB!

I live in the UK and had to pay duty of nearly £15.00
I have since spent a further £10 sending the item back.
This was back in July. Still no refund!

If you were in contact by the chat feature (on thaat site) and received information on where to send money - that you have sent away - for the product(s) then you can try to search that company for information over the Internet. Hopefully, its detailed account information will be revealed to you.If not and you have paid the money, then you must file a complaint with the authorities of (possible) fraud. I know this is a lot of hassle that might become very tedious, but it's the only way to go and if that company has your account details, then you must change that after you have filed the complaint with the authorities. I dont know about duty but it will cost you much more. You will not get the oitem you ordered and you will never have a way to retur o get your money bak. There is no address, phone or cite to complaint althoug they show one before you buy. Dont buy from this place, they steal your money.
