Jollychic
Questions & Answers
I saw a cute purse advertised on a page I was looking at, and rather than click the ad I decided to type it in. Fortunately, Google helped me out as I typed "Jollychic" Google offered reviews. To all the people who have shared your experiences on this company's way of conducting business, I HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR- NO SALE! It certainly seems obvious that the accusations are at least mostly accurate. Just the condescending tone of the responses to customer complaints is adequate to keep me from even looking at what they have on their site. So this review page is my only impression on JollyChic.com So my question is this: Do the people at JollyChic believe that the way they are currently conducting business is going to help them succeed in the American and European markets? Also, is this a typical business model and way of handling customer satisfaction in China? If so, and you want to do well in America, you need to learn some basic skills first. My first suggestion would be learn that customers come back when they are happy.

I wish I would have been warned before I spent over $75 at JollyChic and now can't even return since it costs about the same amount to return. JollyChic offered a $20 credit... not to be returned on my card, but at their site... like I would spend a dime there!

Well I still did not receive my purse but these deals they make and don't come through is very very poor way of getting me back for sure. I can't speak for others. I will not be fooled by them again!

An update on my JollyChic experience-I made a return... TO CHINA! Luckily, the op was very light-weight, so mailing costs were no as bad as I had feared. And, after several bizzare communications (a definite language barrier at work), my money was refunded to PayPal. I cannot imagine this company will thrive in aUS market w/out many substantial changes. The marketing remains intense (my Facebook has been invaded with flashing ads) and perhaps they will bring in enough trade to make a good chance of change, and then just go out of business. Who knows.
Buyer beware!
In the end, to their credit (and, I suspect, social media) the refund as made.
