The best account for trading gold is definitely ECN VIP for a simple reason. The average spreads for gold is 1.1 pips, whereas commissions are not charged at all! So, you are left with the really tight spreads only. However, it might be pretty difficult to get it for an average person, so I would suggest you to go with a Raw ECN account. Spreads are literally the same, though you will be charged commission fees.
