They are also very aggressive with their billing. I left in the first place because of their rudeness and aggressive billing, then a few weeks after I canceled, i clicked a link in an email they sent me (NOT on the site) and was charged immediately! I am experienced in surfing the web and I can tell you this, I've NEVER inadvertently ordered something from a company by clicking on a link from an email WITHOUT confirming anything. Until now...
I eventually had to request a new debit card anc had my bank reverse the fraudulent charges. My advice? NEVER give them your credit card info.

They make you put in a credit card number because they sign you up for automatic shipments right away. Its more less a scam i would say

I asked the same thing, I was told they have to have one on file for further orders. Then they claim I never pout in a coupon code so they charged my card. When I complained they said no coupon code, topi Jane the product do you pay. Very rude about it.

They will use your credit card only on future orders. If you are not interested in getting another shipment, it is very easy to cancel and they won't bill you again. Sadly I had to cancel my subscription a few months ago and it was very easy to do. I have not been billed since. I find them to be a very reputable company. Best wishes.

Its a subscription. If you cancel before your next automated order they won't charge you... HOWEVER. They did charge me a dollar when I signed up. No warning they would do that.

Hi Shair, thanks for your question - it's great to see you're thinking of trying graze:)
Others have mentioned this already, but it's absolutely right that graze is a snack subscription service, and so you do make a recurring order when you make an account with us. The card information you add to this would be used for future boxes if you were to keep up your order - but, you can cancel your order at any time, and you won't be charged if you cancel after your first box (when a free box promotion is used).
We still need card information at this free box stage, in order to protect these special offers from misuse. Unfortunately, if we don't have a way to check that these offers are being used once per person (as per the intended introductory purpose) there are a very small number of folks out there who will keep on using these codes, and essentially claim an unlimited number of free boxes from us. We can't check each grazer is completely new using names or addresses because there can be multiple people with the same name and address, so instead we use card information, which is unique each time, and verifiable.
When you enter your card information this will be verified using a test transaction. The majority of online retailers will do this, but it's not always something which shows on your statement, depending on your bank. The way this is done is with a request for a transaction with no balance, or sometimes a balance of $1 (or £1 for UK customers). Since this is only a test for verification, the transaction is always stopped before any money is taken, so does not complete. If you can see something on your statement, this should only show as 'pending' and will disappear again within 10 days or so.
I hope this satisfactorily answers your question, Shair:)
