800 number I tried was NOT IN SERVICE. I was trying to get refund for booking paid for but course refused to honour it - said Golfnow had oversold allotted tee times.

NEVER use GOLFNOW for anything! Call every golf course you are going to play directly by phone, get a confirmation number if they provide one. Save the fee that GOLFNOW charges and the round will be cheaper...

That would certainly NOT be your best experience! They are useless. I always would simply book on-line, and print out your confirmation.

They are fine if you don't encounter a problem. If you do, they are worthless to resolve an issue. I arrived at the course and my reservation was not in the books. They did not help me after driving fifty miles. Find another provider.

I agree with Rick G. I only use GolfNow to search for golf courses and read he reviews. I will then call the golf course directly to book a tee time and so far they have all honored the price shown on GolfNow. Why pay a non-refundable fee?
