I don't understand the reason why Gearbest is asking me for my photo id and credit card details, although I have placed many online ordered but never faced such an issue.? Is it safe?

They are a scam -they asked me as well and the product I ordered a hover board has still not arrived 8 weeks later and there response is evasive each time SCAM

That does sound weird :/ I've ordered from them 6 times, used my c/c every time and one order got lost; all went well w/ the others. The most recent order is on it's way. Yeah, photo id - sounds odd!

I have paied my orders with Paypal and didn't face that matter.

I just dont get it, why do people want to keep buying from a site with so many BAD reviews, ther is no customer service, and if there was, they STEAL your money
