I bought an item on DH gate weeks ago and it has not arrived. The tracking number doesn't work either. Is this company scamming me? The seller claims to be looking into the matter, but have stopped responding to my emails!

DHgate translates to "lying thief" in Chinese. I made my purchase in July of 2015, and my money was gone in 13 minutes, my product has never arrived. Please contact the Federal Trade Commission, file a complaint, then every 14 days thereafter file an addendum to the complaint until the promised product is in your hands or you have a complete refund.
