Hi, I would like to know if using credit karma does not affect my credit score?

No, it does not. I have the app and I am constantly checking My score

I believe it would not. I have been using it for over a year and i love it. It's absolutely free; No credit card info absolutely needed. It's gives you detail info about your credit history although the recommendations never worked for me. Still a bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush. Use it and never feel guilty.
