There are many hotels that one does not need to guarantee with a credit card on booking.com generally the hotel will hold the room until 4/6pm on date of arrival, at that time the reservation will cancel, and since you did not use a cc for the booking that will be the end of it. I have had some hotels who do not require a credit card ask if i want the room held past 6pm, if so then i click the box and put in the credit card information

Look the only advice you need here is this: DO NOT USE OR TRUST BOOK

I would cancel your booking if I was you and book with another company.ive been using travel Republic lately and found them really helful.and you can call them with any queries

Ha! I'll never use again. Tried once but had to cancel reservations. When they say 24 hour cancellation they mean starting like midnight to noon. Anyway, they kept all of my money, no refund. Hotel told me they didn't have any control over it and didn't refund either. I got screwed out of $300.00 and no live body at booking.com to speak with. If you haven't given a credit card to hold your reservation, you don't have a reservation. Call the hotel, or whatever, to confirm. Use some other method to book reservations.

booking.com has the worst customer service. Don't use them.

Unusual as they normally secure the room with a credit card although it doesnt get charged until you stay... you should check your confirmatory e mail from booking.com... it might say that the establishment only accepts cash or cheques (unusual but I have one like that coming up)

They canot don't worry, you can book whatever you want on booking and don't show up, no problem at all. I'm an hotel owner I can guarante you.
